Marathon 21 (Lucid Dream)

If you are wondering, a lucid dream is basically a dream where you become conscious and actively take control of what happens in your dream. Now on to the game.



This will work differently than regular mafias. There will be three groups.

Dream Gods

- These players are being threatened by the invasion of lucid dreamers and win when all lucid dreamers are dead.

Lucid Dreamers

- These are people who have practiced lucid dreaming, and pushed it as far as to anger the Dream Gods. Defeating the dream gods is now their only means of survival.

Dream Spirits

- These are the poor saps caught in the middle. Their only goal is to somehow make it out alive. Whether they do this by helping one side beat the other, or merely being a spectator is up to them, but they just have to survive.

The game ends when either all of the Dream Gods are dead, or all of the Lucid Dreamers are dead. When the game ends, whoever is left standing between Lucid Dreamers or Dream Gods (even the dead ones from that team) as well as all living Dream Spirits win. The losers are dead Dream Spirits and the dead team. If both teams should happen to die simultanesously, the only winner are the remaining dream spirits.

Rules:

-Days will last for about 45 min. Nights will last for about 15 min. If any abilities are not sent in the specified amount of time, your ability will either be not used, or picked at random, depending on the role. Abstaining from the use of a role or sending in a "no choice" msg may result in speedy replacement.
-Bold your votes and unvotes, and post in this format:

Vote: Player

Any vote not in that format is not accepted. Unvoting is not required to change your vote, but can still be done if you merely want to remove your vote.
-When a player reaches a majority of votes, they will be lynched. They aren't dead until I post that they're dead.
-At deadline, the player with the most votes will be lynched. If there are two or more players sharing the most votes, they will all be lynched.


I will accept the first 9 sign ups. I will try to start the game shortly after singups are filled, but if necessary, I will decrease this game size to 7 players or as I deem necessary.
-Do not post after you're dead or discuss with other players after you're dead unless if your role or another player's role allows it.
-Dream Gods may speak to other Dream Gods and Lucid Dreamers are allowed to speak to other Lucid Dreamers during night only. No other outside of thread discussion should be taking place.
-No quoting the mod.
-No editting your posts.
-Feel free to ask any question via PM, IM, or in thread as you desire.
-Rules are subject to change. Changes will be noted in red and will be in effect once I announce it in a new post.

Power roles abilities are useless/virtually useless w/o dream spirits. Dream spirits boost their ability or increase it’s power.

Group kills take two nights of uninterrupted work to succeed. If the player performing the kill is targeted by a dream spirit and it’s the first night of their targeting, than it’s immediately successful.
