So I was playing on the server and MME was talking about how he was luring a creeper through a narrow tunnel. Having just read

The Enigma of Amigara Fault

earlier this morning, I referenced it by saying "The Enigma of Creeper Fault". (I don't know if he got it but it was a lame attempt anyway so w/e)

I log out, and guess what the splash text on the main screen is? "DRR! DRR! DRR!", which is a reference to the manga itself.

Just watched a Lets Play on snapshot c, and it seems that there is a fire change (bug?) where fire spread is much bigger than before. People who use lava/fireplaces to light their buildings beware!

Other than that the new snapshot is awesome.

And yeah, I also had a lot of lag last time I was there. Perhaps you should tone down on the animals?

The area has been fine for me, tbh. Might be the hopper clocks, though there isn't much I can do about those. But I can cut down on the cows some.

Because i once built something that required lots of doors then tore it down and had a bunch of doors left over. i hate tossing out supplies

Actually, I wouldn't really mind, because starting over in Minecraft is always sort of fun.

We should do something like we did on MME's server again and find a testificate village to build a community town around. Have everyone come and build some house or settlement there, throw in some community resource projects like the woodfarm foodfarm etc, and then build a wall around it all, and make it near spawn so we can guide new players there.

That was my favorite part of this server when I first joined, and really was what made me like minecraft. Without that community village type setting this just doesn't feel like the MS server that inspired me to buy miencraft and get accounts for friends to get them to play. It feels like a different game now and I miss that.

I'm waiting to get whitelisted and I can't wait to get on. But what's the server like? Is everyone far off on their own? What are the builds at spawn? Are there any building rules e.g. community builds at spawn/can't live near spawn? Has the enderdragon/wither been fought yet?
