I'm almost 95% sure I'm going to need a sub for this leg. I doubt my family is going to let me sit and do this entire thing. So if someone could PM me to sub? I would love you forever and ever.Xalxe: this is xofelf sometimes we call each other names and other times we share emotions

Mod Thoughts
wheeeeeee it's over
First of all, thanks so much to CC for being generally awesome, running two legs on his own and just kicking major ass. Everyone go play Pokeclash, it's gonna be a blast. (I had a dream the other night that it went into signups and I was disappointed when I woke up)
From a player standpoint, you guys were basically all awesome. There wasn't anybody we weren't rooting for and you put up with a lot of shit what with delays and the site going down a lot, so thanks so much and I hope you enjoyed the game.
This wasn't a perfect game by any means, but it is the first Amazing Race game to finish on-site, so I'm all kinds of pleased with that, and we learned a lot about what does and doesn't work online. Were I to run a season 2 (and it's not totally out of the question but that's for later), I think it would be a much tighter ship and a lot of things would work a lot better, but overall it was a great run.
Please feel free to leave comments/criticism/whatever here, I'll address what needs addressed but I want to hear what you all have to say."I, too, would prefer to know the Xalxe of my demise." - Felissan, 2022

But I agree with everything Xalxe said, basically. This game was so much fun to mod, and everyone made it really fun to be a part of. It hurt the pace of it with delays and not-so-smart decisions on our part, but my opinion is that when things worked in this game theyreallyworked, and if we ever do a Season 2, we'll definitely be capitalizing on those strong points and fixing the weak ones."CC is very [whatever the equivalent of photogenic as it applies to videos]" - racefan12

I'd like to thank my alliance partner Faraday for my win. There's at least one leg I won because I arrived around last at a detour and our working together got me out quickly, with me winning the leg essentially due to me having more money. You helped me on various other tasks, and I wish I had returned the favour and helped you out more. You were my own favourite to win the game.
To Klick, you were one of the hardest competitors I went up against, which is shown by how close our final times were. I thank you for making the game enjoyable and giving it an extra competitive edge as you do in every single game I'm in with you. Also thanks for following through with that u-turn on JDGA, and giving Ani answers on that one cloth detour which he also gave me! Although, on that same leg you attempted to get him to sabotage me, but all is forgiven!
Thank-you to the mods. Fun game, ran to completion, and for all I grumbled about how long the leg may take, you spent the same amount of time and more running each leg alongside us and coming up with the clues beforehand.
Had fun with everyone, really.
I enjoyed most of the game. When it got aggravating, it gotveryaggravating, and except for the last challenge, those points in the game were ironed out for the most part.
My main criticism is the amount of information told to other players. For example, telling players how much money others have or where they are at different tasks in the game to people who are at the pitstop. Basically, information I don't think players would otherwise realistically know.-

I'm glad you enjoyed the game, Jal, I really appreciate everyone sticking with it through all of the delays and us making dumb decisions. <3 But I agree with your complaint; I think as the game went on, we became more lenient about that kind of thing, at first because people kept asking, but as time went on we just worried less about those details, which I really wish we hadn't. But as Xalxe said, it would definitely be a much tighter ship if we ever ran another season. ^_^ and once again, thank you everyone for playing, everyone was more cooperative and fun to mod than I could ever ask for. <3"CC is very [whatever the equivalent of photogenic as it applies to videos]" - racefan12

Nah, I think you pretty much deserved to win this, you were strong across basically every leg! Also I'd have probably just ended up crying at the anime thing if not for your help, so!In post 322, Jal wrote:I'd like to thank my alliance partner Faraday for my win.
