Exit can technically be anywhere, as there is only 1 correct path from any one node to any other node. If I were building that maze, I'd probably start in the big room in level 1 and make the exit at one of the corners in level 9 (lower right grid).
Glass maze would be really fun if multiple people were doing the maze at the same time. We could see where everyone is! But with all the ladders, I'm not sure it would work too well in practice. I don't think ladders can be placed on glass blocks, can they?

Today while I was finishing up the map for the Temple of the Midnight Sun area I was lucky enough to stumble on.....a MESA biome! I'll be setting up a portal to it tonight and adding a stop on the Rhino Railway route that connects to the Temple and my Ocean House (Gold Route). This way people can access it quickly.

Oh, good point, they cannot. It works for a one-level maze, but not for a 3D one.
Osota: that is really, really awesome!
It's not a very forgiving biome for building, but knowing that one exists is great. ^_^

Tierce it will depend on how you build and the style. Something like Native structures in Mesa Verde National Park would look great there built into the mountain sides! I think that is going to be my next building project..

Does anyone have any gathering jobs that they would like to have help in doing because I want to help out?
I don't have much yet so the tools needed to gather the resource would be the only price to pay.

*legitimate gathering jobs for purposes other than just one's own benefit

For the record, I've extended the road from town past the skelly spawner to Casa de Brotherhood; feel free to continue the road through our forest or branch off of it to connect your house if it's nearby.

If you're looking for giant shrooms, there's a roofed forest next to the forest where I live; if you're looking for the mycelium that's obviously not much help.

40x82, in case anyone was wondering. (and I still need about 2/3 of a dbl chest more sand stone >.>)
so yeah almost time to start building the maze. If anyone is interested, I'm looking for ideas for pixel art (25x25) for the 4 exterior sides of the maze, to be done in stained glass. Also, anyone have ideas for what to do with a large, flat, open area in the desert, I'm open to suggestions there as well
Izak has already done the leg work. We were holding off, so that everybody could prepare (mainly me, but I only needed a week or two). I just want to know when we were planning on doing it.
Bulbazak is so town that everytime someone votes him Mastin coughs blood.
You all decide - I want to avoid past fiascos and say that every reasonably active player on Vanilla must have some say in when this happens.
I'd like to at least try and participate myself, obviously just as a streamer/recorder and bystander, but I wouldn't ask that it be scheduled around me.
I think it would be fun, in the future and starting with this event, to have a Skype or Teamspeak room for all willing participants.
I like the idea of a skype chat anyway just for general use.

To Blake, since I can't for the life of me remember your Mafiascum user name, I just crashed the server about 20 minutes ago. This is the PM I sent to ETL describing what was going on:
Spoiler: PM to ETL
FTB Server

I think I may have just crashed the FTB Server. It happen right at 2:10 pm (PST).
What I was doing: I had inadvertently popped some Leadstone Energy Conduits with the Force Wrench. When I noticed this, I was re-placing them and going to pop them with the Cresent Hammer so that they would stack (They weren't stacking in my inventory) the crash happened as I re-placed the 2nd of 3 conduits.
As far as I know, there were no other players on at the time, and that activity was the only thing I had going. No furnaces, no ovens, no machines running at all.
Apologies,
Oso
My Uncle always use'ta say, 'You can't get no blood from a turnip.' .... He'd say the same thing about gettin' it from a stone, too.

I never said nothin' back to him. You don't want mess with no freak that's searchin' around that hard for blood.
