I was willing to sacrifice myself at any time whenever I could at lynch -1, or if that's what it's called.
My ending list of suspected Mafia:
CES
Remus
Nocmen
I'm almost 100 % sure that at least one of CES and Remus is mafia, but if one's not I would say Nocmen. Actually, people should look back and see who's been suspicious.
Wild Card: Peter, but that's a long shot. But who knows?
I learned a lot after I kept being called a newb in all of my games. Invigorating-

InAzibo Village, the berries discuss who is a cherry. One berry confesses his guilt and the mob begins to lynch him...
now a ranger,Blackberry (Villager), has been lynched.
It is now Night One, if you have a choice, send it in ASAP.Last edited by Blackberry on Thu Mar 22, 2007 2:10 am, edited 1 time in total.-

Azibo Villageawakens to a rainy morning. The sky is gloom, as is the village. The five berries look upon their latest victim and weep. The rain mixes in with their tears, how cute. It washes the crushed juices of the Blackberry away...
Greenliquid,Blackberry (Villager), has been crushed.
The five remaining berries gather around and start a village discussion...
With Five alive, it will take Three to lynch.-

Agreed with what CES says. One misvote, and the scum can easily take the lynch-2 and turn it into a hammer, probably ending the game.Cogito Ergo Sum wrote:First off, noone vote yet. A single townie on townie vote is enough to lose the game at this point. We can't afford to make mistakes. And there's no need to rush things.
Thats the flaw about C9 is that the Scum only need 2 mislynches to win, and with 7 people they can do that pretty quickly as the amount of votes needed for scum to hammer is a very low number.
I will make it a goal to reread the thread tomorrow and pick up on possibilities.-

C.E.S.There isn't a need torushthings. However, thereisa need to discuss thepeople.
I suggest we useFoSheavily rather than an actually vote. As players, we should act as though, at this point, aFoSis as serious an accusation as a vote.
If three players put aFoSon a single given player, we can than discuss, as a town, if a lynch is appropriate.
Hopefully that will spark discussion.
Currently i'm trying to decide if the long night meant anything. Eldarion has been almost lurking, as if he doesn't check the thread often. Are the two related?
FoSEldarion.

CESat this point in the game, if you're going to throw out accusations, will you please back them up with something? You just accused 3 of the 5 players...
I didn't say it after your first post, but you've added NO content to this game, at all. You are playing the role I was earlier accused of, the "voice of reason."
You claim to "use the power of your vote to the fullest" yet you havn't demonstrated that ONCE this game. You have sat on the sidelines and prodded other players to make a move.
You make the first day 2 post an immediate "this is how reasonable people should play, yet i'm not going to cast suspcion on anyone and therefor myself."
Why are you so afraid to take a stance?!
MyFoShas been on you this entire game. I regret the distraction of the worthlessNow a Ranger. I notice now, that you sat on the sidelines while he gathered suspicion.
Greenliquid died, and he was the one who breadcrumbed the voice of reason hint. Perhaps you realized his focus would turn to you.
Care to defend those you fingered? Care to defend yourself?

You know...thats every player besides yourself that you just accused there.Cogito Ergo Sum wrote:If I had to guess, I'd go with remussaidow and Peter here, although I could easily substitute Nocmen or Eldarion for Peter. I'd like to hear some more from Eldarion.
I feel that the two scum are most likely CES and Eldarion, but with Remus possibly in the place of CES.
CES: As Peter pointed out, all I have seen from you during this game is a series of accusations, some based on crap logic, one of which seemed to randomly put a person at lyn-1 early on in the game.
Eldarion: You had an early stint against GL near the start of the game, which makes me suspicious over the fact that he died last night, which for inexperienced scum could just be an overreaction (OMG He Pointed Me Out SCUM KILL!). Also, as mentioned for CES, you also have not contributed much to help logic along for us town.
If I had to pick one, I would probably go with Eldarion for today.-

CES> I re-read my post and realized it could be read with an angry tone. I'm sorry, and didn't mean it that way. If you can't tell, I'm really into this game. I really want to win and am upset by the mislynch.
I just want day 2 to make more sense than day 1. Please, everyone, if you are going to accuse someone, give us a REASON.
I think posts without content are suspicious.

GreenLiquid was the actually the only one who really knows my playstyle in this game and who, as such, did not find me really suspicious, apart from the accidental third vote. This is pretty much how I play. I feel it works for me.
And for your information, my first post Today was devoid of game-related comments because I was somewhat tired. It was 10:42 pm for me and I just needed to get that out there because I've seen townies throw away games because they didn't realize the dangers of voting so soon in such a situation.Scumchat is awesome. In a way, I suppose. But I'm just letting you know where I stand and currently I don't have strong suspicions and I don't really think anyone is town. My pool of suspects has sadly not diminished since the start of the game.Nocmen wrote:You know...thats every player besides yourself that you just accused there.
Craplogic? You're going to have to back up that allegation.Nocmen wrote:CES: As Peter pointed out, all I have seen from you during this game is a series of accusations, some based on crap logic, one of which seemed to randomly put a person at lyn-1 early on in the game.
Anger, aye? Don't worry about me, that sort of stuff doesn't bother me, but that does sound pro-town. I'm going have to re-read your posts and see whether I get a sincere anger vibe. That would mostly definitely be helpful.Peter Venkman wrote:CES> I re-read my post and realized it could be read with an angry tone. I'm sorry, and didn't mean it that way. Just prodding CES. Looks like it worked.Nocmen wrote:What type of question is that?
CES> I'm with you on the "large pool of suspects." However, you could have said that instead of your blanket accusation.
At this point, I've cast suspicion on every single player too.
I'm interested in hearing from Remus andespeciallyEldarion.

Why would you be prodding him 4 minutes after his last post? To me, that doesnt seem like much sense.Peter Venkman wrote:

And I can see that you also accused everyone else practically, but CES went and did it all in the same post.-

To be honest, Im starting to worry about you as well Peter. You really could be a scum, and hell, Im even a frickin hypocrit now, because it really could be anyone that is a scum. Sorry about attacking you so much for that CES, I guess when you think about it any of them are possible.
On second thought, I may be taking this a bit too seriously. Im going to take a nap before I realize I am getting pissed off about online Mafia. Ill be back in a couple hours or so.-

fos: CESI admit, Ranger was a misplay. However, he would have been far more dangerous had we mislynched someone else and he was still alive. The way he threw around votes like they meant nothing, the two scum could have just waited until he ca st one on a townie and then polished off the game.
That being said, I think that, unfortunately for us townies, scum made the best possible choice last night, as GL seemed to be our only active IC and not only that but the only really thinking through his moves.
Now, I think that CES is scum. I don't really know who the other is, but my gut instinct tells me its Eldarion. I don't have any evidence on him at all, except his current lurkiness, so I'm not FoSing him. Both of them have lurked, and CES has posted very little content. Content free posting is a scum tell. Now, life is civilized. Once there was a city, barbaric in its ways. Yet, they were an empire. But even before that, they were two brothers. They fought. Remus said ow, and it all began.-
