Spoiler: The Rules

The Death Games are a simple, ongoing PVP game that everyone on the server is welcome to join in on.

A redstone system will automatically and randomly select a name from all people playing the Death Games, and that name will appear in the center chest.

The name of the player is the target that all other Death Games players then have the option and right to go kill without retaliation or remorse.

[Note: In good spirit of the Death Games, always help the Target recover any items that might be lost from their death on your account.]

In order for the death to be a legitimate Death Games kill, the attacker must equip the armor and weapons from the chest, and only use these tools when dealing damage to the Target.

If the Target is killed by the Attacker, then the Target must play the Attacker 1 diamond as a reward. If the Attacker dies to the Target in their fight, the Attacker must play the Target 1 diamond as reward. The attacker may not attempt to kill them again, and the button must be pressed to remove the Target's name from the chest.

The armor and weapons should also be returned.

If your own name appears in the name chest, you may press the button ONCE to remove it.

To join the Death Games, rename any item with your Minecraft username, place it in the center chest and push the button once.

When a kill is made, please PM Xalxe with the details (attacker, target, person who died) for record keeping purposes.

I can now get from my village to spawn by nether . If anyone wonders what the 3x3 tunnel connecting to the nether paths, thats my nether highway... or will be eventually. Not finished yet, just a tunnel for now, not even labeled.

Btw, the path to my Nether portal is behind the portal to RC's fiery fortress of doom.

Still looking for a mesa, I'm pretty far out. I'm going to have to hook up a nether portal from the mesa to spawn and build a highway. @Rh, how's the mesa hunt coming along?

I'm willing to give out the coords for the first Ice Spikes biome, because I found another one. Coords: X: 3176 Y: 95 Z: 1835. The second Ice Spikes biome is very big, and it's pretty far from spawn, but the first one is more reasonably closer to spawn. Enjoy.

Important Announcement about RobCraft:

This is something I did not want to have to announce, but there's really no getting around it. I am having some financial difficulties. I was denied an expected promotion at work, which means less pay than expected and less hours than expected. Additionally, I have a tax bill coming this year that is going to be absurdly high. I am lucky in that I earned a lot of scholarships, but they are all taxed and aren't being withheld on. Due to this, I'm going to have difficulties continuing to pay for the server. I've already essentially cut out all luxury items from my budget, but it's looking like saving up for this tax bill is going to take every penny I can spare.

If there is anyone who would consider taking over RobCraft in its entirety (i.e. both admin/mod and financial obligations), please approach me. I'd really like to provide a seamless transition from me to another user who is willing to take over - one that doesn't result in a world restart and doesn't majorly affect any of our regular players.

Sorry about this - I've really tried to push off this announcement as long as possible in the hopes that I could pull some magic to make things work on my end, but it's just not happening.
