Wait, that says I'm a level 10 Arcanist and I was definitely 16 when I logged out today.
Also... I just got the airship to go to Gridania to pick up my second class (Conjurer) since I'm going for White Mage... exactly how do I go about adding that class? Do I just do the introductory quests for the Conjurer's Guild or what?green shirt thursdays-

You really should get Cul to 37 though, although I am starting to see the benefits of your round-robin levelling plan. I think Im going to start doing that so I can recycle crafting gear easier. Im sorta blocked on Leves for the time being though (only 12 left?). I'll have some after I get back from Vegas this weekend though to blow immediately >.>
Im finally reaching the point where everything is pretty easy to come by since I can farm/make it. I really do need to start maximizing XP/Leve though for this.
I need to decide if I want to race CRP to 50 for that OP CC ability or try and do round robin levelling which recycles gear much better but doesnt yield the 37/50 cc rewards until later. Bleh.-

I should note that at all item levels the gear tiers generally go like this:
1. Crafted HQ gear + slotted materia (expensive)
2. Dungeon gear
3. Crafted gear that is HQ xor slotted.
4. Other (e.g., for your first class, quested gear)
In other words, dungeon gear will be better than most things that you can buy, unless you are comfortable spending a great deal of money.
Of course, dungeon gear does rely on dungeon drops, and AP doing it for you obviates the cost issues, but ye know.
Fate, if you're thinking of taking WAR up to 50, I recommend you try leveling PGL to 12 and GLA to 22. You'll need GLA to 15 to unlock WAR, anyway. PGL12 will get you Featherfoot (evasion bonus cooldown), Second Wind (self-heal cooldown), and Internal Release (critical hit bonus on fast cooldown); GLA22 will get you Flash (AoE GCD hate-spam that uses MP and can be used while Pacified by Berserk), Convalescence (increases-healing-effects cooldown), and Provoke (automatically assigns your enmity on target mob to the enmity of the party member that is highest on the hate list + 1, cooldown).-

That's pretty much it, yes. Avoid Medica if you can help it, though, as it's going to make you pull hate. I can't really think of a need for it other than a handful of boss fights with unavoidable AoE damage. Later on WHM will feel a lot more MP stress than SCH and they will tend to pull more hate than SCH, so you'll need to manage Freecure and Shroud to make the most of your MP pool.
Before 30 tbh I think CNJ is probably categorically inferior to ACN/THM as a healer (i.e., because the MND difference isn't large, ACN/THM have better damage capabilities and better MP management capabilities, ACN can battle-raise from 22 rather than from 28, Medica is almost more a liability than a benefit, and CNJ/WHM doesn't access the burst healing abilities that set it apart until 30), and it's a little on the boring side. However, CNJ has Esuna, and SCH doesn't get the equivalent ability until level 40.
If you get bored on trash, keep in mind that you can probably safely Cleric Stance and DPS a bit during most trash encounters. This especially applies to SCH (because the healing pet can solo heal most trash encounters), but WHM can do this a bit, too, depending on the group. It's better than standing and watching, anyway. WHM will eventually get a great AoE damage spell, so both will eventually have good damage options.
At endgame, WHM specializes in burst-healing and MP/hate management while SCH focuses on damage mitigation and Aetherflow (i.e., ability token) management.-

yeah I figured my abilities would be: 2nd Wind, Provoke, Flash, Featherfoot, Convalescense. I hate gladiator with such a goddamn passion getting it to 22 seems like such a pain. Fuckin provoke

and it was pretty helpful. For every tradecraft it lays out exactly what battle/trade/gathering classes it benefits and how.
Leatherworking and Weaving each make 3 crafting gear pieces that benefit all crafts.
Blacksmithing makes at least one of {Main hand / offhand} for 7 of 8 Trade crafts (weaving being the odd one out and covered by goldsmith/carpentry). It also makes both main and off hands for Mining/Botany.
Carpentry has (imo and this is mostly a guess on my end) the best lvl 50 CC ability. MOST of the lvl 37 CC abilities are underwhelming/situatuional except the cooking one which I already have. CRP also makes one item (boots) that is beneficial to all tradecrafts.
Goldsmithing gives rings, earrings, wrist which is good for all crafting.
Armorsmithing seems mostly useless for trade/gather crafts. Alchemy provides reagents needed for crafting some things, but seems to be manageable without. It doesnt really make anything that benefits your ability to craft.
Culinary has a very low level crafting food that is helpful I think and the best 37 CC ability. I have it at 37, so pretty uninterested in leveling it right now since I think its usefulness is capped.

So Im a little torn here. GSM, WVR, LTW each provide 3 things that benefit all crafts. BSM benefits all crafts except Weaving, and ALSO benefits gathering a ton.
CRP has best lvl 50 imo and also provides 1 item useable for all crafting.
So.... tl;dr I think Im goingto work on getting LTW next and maybe do some round robin WVR/LTW/BSM/CRP finagling. GSM is the onl one im iffy about here. ARM/CUL/ALC seem like they can wait until later.-

What's your low-level Marauder rotation look like? Because I have a much easier time holding hate on Gladiator via 2x flash at the start and then a rotation of fb+savage, fb+riot, flash. Yes, I'm a shit tank, that's why I haven't taken any tanking class past 23 yet.
