Wait, do you have this above every player?

Well, thanks so much for choosing me. I'm feeling that I want to open the
fourth, then first
spheres for you.
no.

We kicked "[vacant]" out of the gallery. His name was too weird for our show. :D

Rightyo, green's every bit better than red right now - but it doesn't mean red couldn't show up at the end. Be vewy vewy caweful as we deal with this 3.

*all the players start uneasily looking up and wondering what the heck is above their heads*

Um, 3 > 1. Why did you remove another sphere?

3. Then, one golden sphere is opened and removed from the game
(that's one after EACH turn!)
. The order they are removed in is randomly determined. Two exceptions:
* if a 4 appeared on that turn, the next golden sphere in line is skipped, and that same player instead opens a second color sphere from their own set. This secondary selection does not affect their sector's money ladder, only the subsequent target (see #4).
* if all remaining golden spheres contain the same color, no more are removed.

:]

Boy, I didn't make nearly as big of a stink about that shmancy new change. Now watch the mayhem that is due to unfold. :D

For the record, I had JDGA explicitly confirm he'd seen the rule change.

Oh. Derp.

I apparently missed the 'remove 1 from the board every game' mechanic.

Xalxe, dear Ninja-in-Training, any jujitsu or whatever the heck you can do to get us a 4 would be great. Otherwise UV is going to amount to shitsu.

Yes I got the reference despite never playing the game.

Anyway I wrote about Canto II of the Divine Comedy today on my blog, so I'm going with the
second
sphere. If I need another we'll go with the
third
.

I read that as praying for no failing. Close enough. :D

Xalxe

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

*the sphere creaks open - someone ought to get that some WD-40*

Xalxe

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

*everyone cheers, set flashes violet, Feirei falls through the hole himself*

(Hey, it's only fair) ;)

Now then... we can't have 4 as a target, that's not fair. So I'll tell you what we'll do.
Instead
of opening a golden sphere, we'll make our second sphere this turn another one from Xalxe's rack - just so we can get a fresh target. That means the next golden sphere in line, whatever that is, is skipped.

Xalxe

ImageImageImageImageImage

UV's got its grand, this can't affect the cash there. Only the target. Therefore, we'd love it to be a 0.

Open sesame.

*lid lifts*

Xalxe

ImageImageImageImageImage

*siren goes off, audience cheers*

Xalxe

ImageImageImageImageImage

Xalxe, you now have 24 hours to simply call out your 1, 2, and 3 spheres in the order you think they are, from left to right, and if you nail this 1/6 proposition, you're in for the next game!

A whopping 3 games faster, but hey, I'm sure you'll take it. :P

Meanwhile...

What happens if someone earns the line jump, then in the same game someone else chooses the 4,0 correctly? Do they still get a chance at skipping the queue? And if they succeed as well, do they go into some kind of secondary Line Jump Line?

Ooh, someone in that queue could still pick the order right. What would happ-- No, I feel like probability is already against the
first
scenario. Carry on.

Okay, why do I want to work out the chance of that happening. You're on a break now, toph. Stop trying to think.

If two people win the Jump (possible), then they'd go into this "express queue" which would empty out before the normal one in the order that they won. I'm frankly gonna wing it if someone wins a Jump
whilst they're waiting in that priority queue
, because that'd just be nuts if they do.

Also, if a sector collapses and someone in it is never picked, we'll still give them a crack at divining their spheres while the credits roll. :]
