Disabled? What does that mean? I enabled everything. Should we be choosing between EBXL and BoP? If we need to make a choice, cast votes here people - I don't care which we go with.
As for updates, I can make this promise. I will not consider any update that would result in a world restart until a full 6 months have passed.

Why the lol? That doesn't include technical failures, of course, which sometimes occur. I won't reset the world unless out of necessity until 6 months pass.
Recommended version of the FTB Unleashed pack. Download and launch through the FTB Launcher. Once you download, you MUST go into the mod list in the FTB launcher and enable all the mods that are disabled by default.
Again, white-list in effect, so tell me your username here (slower) or on IRC (faster) to get your name added to the list.

There doesn't appear (to my knowledge) that EBXL is in the server pack that I have. Maybe it is and it just has a weird file name, but looking in the mods and coremods directories yielded no names that look like EBXL in any way. World has been generated with BOP.
Full render should be done within an hour, but expect lag/unplayable conditions until then. I did it in the middle of the day so most/all people won't be affected cause you're at school/working/etc.
Oops, I lied. I forgot there was no Nether/TF/etc maps to be generated because no one has been their yet. Render is entirely finished - lag should no longer be an issue.

What about updates that don't
require
a reset but introduce unforseen world-breaking lag/bugs such as lagcastle on mafiacraft? Do you have a plan for that or does that just fall under the technical difficulties umbrella?
I'd suggest - world backup before every update followed by a week long trial period to see if any sort of gamebreaking issues arrise, so that the server could be reverted if something bad happened because of the update.

Go ahead and whitelist me, though that doesn't mean I'm actually going to play on the server. Not sure I'm ready to give a modded server another chance yet.
I tried to pull a UntrodTripod, and i sailed out very far. After 4 thousand blocks, one aggressive squid attacked my boat, and sank me. I landed in an air pocket, and settled there. It was a pretty cool thing, so i figured, why not?
Back-ups are being automatically performed and then manually downloaded to my computer once a week. I will also perform a manual back-up whenever any update occurs.
Whether or not we update at ALL is an issue that will be left for another day - I really don't see a need to update for minor changes, and any major changes have the potential to break the world generally, so we'll see if any update comes along that anyone thinks they HAVE to have. My goal is a stable world above all else - as stable as we can get in modded, anyway.
If we do decide to update for a non-world breaking thing, then we'll lag behind the general release of FTB Unleashed by around a month, to ensure that any immediate bugs are worked out. I can't promise no technical issues, of course - it's still modded. I'm trying to keep it as stable as possible, though.
