So assuming we don't restart, I intend to focus on community mega-project builds in this world. Currently I'm planning a blaze farm, wither skellie farm, iron golem farm, and enderman farm - any other ideas?

Oh, and a slime farm, of course. They're super-easy to make so there's no reason not to.

Actually, unless something has changed recently, all you need is full leather armor and the ender dragon can't hurt you. (Not that you'd want to actually go to the end with leather armor and try to fight endermen, but meh).

That was a bug and I'm pretty sure they fixed it. But anyway, you don't need much to take on the enderdragon. It's the wither that you really need amazing gear for.

I like to overprepare, plus I'm trying to work through the achievement list, and am nowhere close to ready. If nothing else, I have a few other servers I can work on an enderdragon run (in fact, on one of the servers, it may well be recorded.).

so I'm flying around the new snapshot with the amplified terrain generation. Its completely crazy and awesome but there's no way it would work on a server. It would cause so much lag. Examples:

One of a million epic lava falls... this one burning up a jungle

Hey M/Klaz any reason for the serverwide lag in KMP?
It comes and goes, horrible for mining. Last for 3-10 seconds.

Right obviously... but the default terrain gen is actually better I think anyways. Amplified is all crazy all the time. Default has variety - flat areas AND mountains, not just Pandora mountains ad infinitum.
