Crud. And here I thought that your last post of yesterday...
mole wrote:Okay, so now chamber and Foolster lurking is scummy, but Blake Judge lurking isn't.

Please explain why I shouldn't vote for you.
...was an attempt to look like you were suspicious of Sailor Jerry, while actually trying to give him an out by explaining himself, and giving him a clear point to work against. Oh well. Do you mind if I leave my vote on you anyway, in case other people got the same impression I did?
I actually found that to be a sound argument against SJ. Giving players the opportunity to explain themselves, especially on Day One, is just common sense. I don't think that mole was providing Jerry with any particular foothold on which to build a defense, just pointing out that if he had one, everyone would like to hear it.

That's the thing - I agree it was a sound argument (even moreso given SJ's alignment now), and I think mole summed it up in an easy package for SJ to rebut so SJ wouldn't go all over the place. SJ certainly could explain himself without mole's help,
why the prompt from mole
? That's what gets me - it was fairly clear that SJ needed a defense, and mole is giving SJ the opportunity to
not be voted
. I don't think that's a throw-away statement, I think it's very deliberate.

Giving him the opportunity to "not be voted"? I intended that statement as a threat, to state that I intended to use
my
vote against him if he did not explain himself. There was one question I wanted an answer to before I voted, so I asked it.

See, you
say
that, but I think you just wanted it to look that way. You made it clear that he needed to say something other than what he was saying. It looked like cleverly disguised in-thread scumhelp to me.

So, no one's going to post today?

For those who know the show, wha do people think of the claim of chickenboo's rolecliaim where he can look at who targered someone if they were nightkiled?

This strikes me as rather un-chickenboo like personaly.

Seems more like a townie role to me, since Chickenboo tries to fit in with the crowd.

To expand: Chicken Boo is able to stand around in crowds without really being noticed by anyone. This allows me to keep an eye on anything unobserved, which is why I can stake out one person per night. I watched Foolster last night, btw.

I don't think mole or Blake Judge are scum.

Re-reading brought me very little, except for the gut feeling that Fuldu is scum. (which I have fairly often for some reason, sorry Fuldu).

It's this post:
Fuldu wrote:
mole wrote:Okay, so now chamber and Foolster lurking is scummy, but Blake Judge lurking isn't.

Please explain why I shouldn't vote for you.
Blake Judge, I think this is the best summary of why the bandwagon on Jerry makes sense. I was okay with his behavior when it was just about you, but once he explained that his vote on Foolster was in consequence of what he viewed as scummy lurking, then the level of inconsistency became scummy.

unvote: chamber; vote: Sailor Jerry
It's just so absolute. No qualms about putting on a fifth vote that early at all. Thesp's sixth vote and Fritzler's hammer are more understandable to me, and how Sailor Jerry went from 3 to 6 so quickly was strange. I wouldn't be surprised if there was scum in there.

I don't really have anything more substantial at this point and I don't really want to base a vote on this.

I actually think its a reasonable role for Chickenboo. People always manage to see the things he's doing so he can see the things other people are doing?.. If that makes any sense.

I'm sorry, you're going to need to explain that a little better. Putting on the fifth vote was scummy, but putting on the sixth and last votes wasn't?

His further explination makes much more sense with the role. I have a very slight feeling of being tacked on to the claim, but because it fits well with his claim mostly makes that feeling minimal. (In less words, I believe BJ's claim).

Not from a behavioural point of view, no. I'd expect Fritzler to hammer in that situation. Thesp already built his case against SJ when there was no vote on SJ. Although I could see Thesp tying a scum buddy to a townie and pushing the townie, but I'd need a bit more evidence to assume that one.

Blake Judge is dead anyway if there's a SK out there, as he can singlehandedly out them. Not worth spending time on him.

VR: May I ask why the vote? His answer to Thesp (first post on this page) I thought was reasonable. The same for his question, Though I agree pretty much with your answer to it. Is it something else? please elaberate.

I mean that if there's a Serial Killer in the game, that player can't afford to let Blake Judge stay around. If Blake Judge is still around in a couple of days, it will be worth looking at then, but not now.

Die mole die. Kill him, my pretties!

I still don't see any good evidence against Mole. The one person I feel the strongest that may be scum jis in fact Thesp, but even that is far from certin.
