There's total strategy involved with night time; you can tell who use their powers and go off the night kills although the last time this happened in one of these random games, the jack of all trades repeatedly killed or maimed his town teammates or completely whiffed. The difference is that we know who has what role and you can make inferences.

The strategy is going to be effectively using night powers. I'd hope that as long as we have the bodyguard open, I can keep the game night less and prevent mafia from getting kills in. BG plus a rod should stop the mafia kills.

Generally speaking, in any case where an active ability is present, would the Tracker track both the active ability and a Mafia NK, or would they be given results on only one or the other?

If the Non-Consecutive Commuter were Scum, would he be able to perform the Mafia NK on the same Night as he is commuting?
If so, would the NK be Tracked by the Tracker vis a vis the first question?

Will the Vanillaizer resolve before a NK? (e.g. would Vanillaizing the BG or the Rod eliminate their effects on the NK for that Night if they used their active Abilities? would this depend on every Action used on that particular Night?)

Tracker would track to both the targets.
In this setup, mafia can do both their usual action and kill, so commuter or any other role would be able to do both. Tracker would see them visit any other player.
Vanillaiser resolves at the start of the next day, so other roles would resolve first before being vanillaised.
