You are <whatever role the mod gave you.>

Modnote: At some point in the game, when it's unneeded, search for a replacement for this slot. When someone volunteers, send them the same role PM as this slot's, and announce in-thread the two players as holding the same slot. They may not communicate outside the game thread.

Basically it's like a forced hydra without the ability to speak outside the game, at least that's how it seems to me

Yeah, basically. Although neither of the players is aware of that, at least at the beginning.

You are a bit fat quitter.

Before the role PM gets distributed, you will receive a PM from mod to reply with your favorite alignment.

When you don't get a alignment that you choose in the role PM afterwards, you will be modkilled at the beginning of the day.

You are a hydra-izer.
Each night you may PM me the names of two players, one of which can be you. They will be combined into a forced hydra, which will have both of their abilities but only one vote, and which will only be able to use one ability per night. If they had different alignments, the alignment of the hydra will be determined by some method I haven't come up with yet, note that if you are one of the players in the hydra the hydra will always be your alignment. You win when you (Or your hydra) are the only player left alive.

If they have different alignments they both keep their individual alignments, and thus have to die and have their team win without them alive.

Actually, just guarantee no other WCs and then use the following:
Maf+Town=Maf
Maf+Hydra-izer=Hydra-izer
Town+Hydra-izer=Hydra-izer

If they keep their alignments that basically means that any hydra with maf+town will be insta-lynched.

whack-a-mole

each night, tree stump a player. (loses vote, night action, but can still post. does not count as living for any win condition)

you win when the number of tree stumps that is not night killed or lynched exceeds number of living players.

I like the idea of a hydra being different alignments and thus even harder to read than a hydra usually is.

Actually, that would work as a role in and of itself.

"Hi, I'm XXX, a townie, the other head is YYY, and scum"
If they don't know each other's roles they are basically two players and all the hydra-izer has done was neighborize them and remove one vote.

Questionably sane Masonizer:
You are very persuasive. You can convince people to join you in your neighborhood where you can all talk together. Not only that, but you know that anyone you persuade to join you will be your alignment. The only problem is, you're not sure what your alignment is. You think you're just a bunch of masons, but for all you know you're actually a cult.
You win when all surviving players are of the same alignment as you.

Questionably sane Psychiatrist:
You like to help people. You think. You think you're helping them but you're not sure. Each night you can target one person per night. You cannot self-target. Depending on your sanity (Which is unknown), one of the following things will happen:
1. If your target is a serial killer, they will become a vigilante. If they previously had questionable sanity, they will become sane.
2. If your target is a non-questionable sanity townie, they will become a serial killer. If they previously had questionable sanity, they will become insane. You will be immune to their kills.
Also, whatever your sanity there is a chance that they will commit suicide (Strongman Kill)
You win with the town. Probably. If your targets kill themselves enough times, you'll turn into a serial killer.

Questionably sane Actor:
You are either an actor or a priest, you're not sure. If you cast a vote when you shouldn't, you will be modkilled. If you are an actor and someone other than you hammers, you will be modkilled.
You win with the town.

You are a town-aligned
compulsive hydra-splitter

Each night, if there are one or more hydras in the game, you must pick one to target. If certain conditions are true, you will split it into its component players. The hydra account ill no longer be allowed to post. Each individual player from the hydra will receive a new Role PM identical to the one the hydra started with.

MODNOTE: The "certain conditions" which must be true are that the target hydra must be non-town.

for a fun post restrictions:
you have to post no more and no less than the following amount every real life days
posting in prime numbers
so 2 posts in first 24 hours, 3 in next 24 hours, 5 in the next 24 hours ect.

or

play the bottles game
replace the number 7 with the word bottles
everyone who's post is numbered either a multiple of 7 or contains the number 7 has to include the word bottles or some other word of the mod's choice.
for example post #'s 7, 14, 17, 21, 27, 28 ect
I think a lot about meteors. The purity of them. Boom! The end. Start again. The world made clean for the new man to rebuild.

I did something similar to this in a marathon game.

I renamed the scumteam "Town" and the town "Scum". Pretty much, the town kept asking me if it had a nightkill, when in reality, the town's "nightkill" is just their ordinary lynch. I don't think anybody ever ended up understanding what I'd done. Even though all I did was swap the names of the faction.

I gave the "Scum" a QT and then I gave the "Town" a QT so the "scum" effectively were talking throughout the whole game. But the "Town" were also given access to the "scum" QT so that they could not be easily identified.

It works in theory, but it just confused the heck out of people and it was lame.
Although the border between madness and genius is very narrow.
