I mean personally I think I brought up the idea that Ecto could be scum in my person-by-person analysis... I doubt I was the first, though. So for me,

After m4yhem turned up innocent I reread. I had originally figured that omg's survival indicated that pablito et al were confident, and that pab's attempt on ecto was a genuine attempt to achieve his lynch (I'm sure everyone figured day 2 would be short). But on rereading I figured pablito was placing that on the off chance he got investigated. I guess he wasn't so confident after all, or maybe just cautious. Some of ecto's comments yesterday were odd as well.

Forgive me for not trying to pull off a line of BS, I suppose I should go down fighting but really what could I say?
A few things went wrong, (or right if you're town).
First, I really wanted to be lynched instead of Pablito. That would have led to a Jack lynch most likely and taken out the cop. Pablito would have been revealed at that point as scum since Jack really was the cop, but that would have been 2 night kills later, plus a 3rd that night too. Still it would have turned out fine most likely except.....
Jack got Adele on investigation the very next night. I must say that was a stroke of skill/luck and hats off to Jack.
I thought perhaps I could still pull it off until the nurse showed up and blocked the kill on Jack.
Even then, if Jack had investigated HD last night, my play would have been on Kenji's bogus "confirmed by Townie PM capitol word", pointing out that clearly Mayhem, who was lynched townie didnt get the word capitolized in his PM and we've been letting Kenji lurk and get by on a bad assumption.

Forgive me if Im breaking some mafiascum protocol by claiming scum and ending the game, but I saw no way out once I was investigated.

Nah, there wasn't much point in continuing. Yama's vote would have been hammer in a normal game.

You and pab had some nice distancing. I dropped you as a suspect after you explained your adele vote quite well (was this real or were you backtracking?) and figured pablito's pursuit of you as him seeing you as a possible lynch.

What was your reasoning behind the patrick kill?

My scumdar had help what with the claims and all.

Actually I tried to play as if I didnt know who the scum were, and Adele's plan was one I would have attacked anyhow, so it was real.
Patrick was the killed on the toss of a coin. OMG could have been the play that night, but we felt we had a good chance at getting the town to lynch him.

I'm looking forward to hearing from others about the game (once it offically ends). This will be my 2nd finished game and I'm still learning every day that goes by.

Well, the back up cop wasn't needed, and without either backups we'd have had 2 scum down. Hard to say.

A breezy sort of game. Quite different to last time as Arafax said. I think the setup maybe balanced, but with roles like those alot seems to depend on luck. Once the game turned into an excersise of just confirming players, the deadline mechanic was less relevant and the scum lost their biggest advantage.

As for the play, scum's main mistake was obviously killing me. I don't know why they would do that instead of kill the doctor, especially since it was pretty obvious I was a vanilla townie. That choice lead to Yamahako being able to make a virtually forced winning plan as early as day 2. Hmm. Lynching mayhem when there was an innocent investigation was strange, I thought from the role names of the scum, it was fairly clear there wasn't a GF. As far as I know, if scum have perks or abilities, they would come up as MAFIA GOON or MAFIA GODFATHER not just mafia scum. But it didn't matter in the end.

Best scum was probably pablito, at least he's the one that completely had me fooled. Jack and Yamahako played well for the town, among others. Thanks to Arafax for modding.

Where did you see role names before game end?

I personally like the fast style of this game and would definitely like to participate in another. Im not certain it was unbalanced, just some bad luck, or good reads by Jack
