Pure speculation, but the only reason I can think of to have the confirmation phase in the forefront of you mind once the day has started is because you know that someone delayed daystart by not confirming in order to have more N0 discussion in their quicktopic. The typical strategy there is to have one partner confirm early and the other not confirm at all, so I'm thinking there could be one scum in {Telo,Baezu} and one in {everybody else}.

It's perfectly plausible that Baezu might have thought the post-gamestart /confirm was needed specifically because Telo confirmed after gamestart, and (Pot to kettle, I know) Telo hasn't said a peep otherwise, so my RVS vote is no longer RVS.

Also, the Egg wagon is a shitwagon. Seriously, L-1 for an "overreaction" that wasn't objectively an overreaction at all? Or is it for picking on TheGar for the amount of focus he is giving SH? In the latter case, I think that's called "scumhunting." Egg

Totally just being a mod saying this.

I think you should be confirming, and some mods are extremely uptight about this, and some are rather loose about whether or not confirms are required, I personally don't

require

them, but it's not a bad habit to get into (it's like some mods will make you use vote tags instead of just bolding)

Confirming late isn't a tell. I can't remember having a lengthy conversation with a scumbuddy before a Day 1 start. At least not one about strategizing.

TheGar, inactivity happens too. If these people post and I'm not satisfied with the content of their posts, believe me when I say I'll go after it. However, the game is only a few days old and it's possible/likely that they are just busy. the stuff about mala wasn't useless until I realized I had replaced into the other game. It was me trying to sort out her alignment. Thinking. Scumhunting. Same with the "associative tells" as you call it although I'm stashing them away for later. People get uncomfortable when you are close to not only catching them, but naming their buddies as well. So that's part of why I give my thoughts on possible links. You get reactions that way. Again, scumhunting. That's not fluff. Fluff is coming in and posting "hey guys. I'm really drunk right now. This bar is cool". It has nothing to do with the game at all. I don't see at all how you can stretch what I've been saying to sound like that. I think you got nervous when I asked you a question about the player I was voting and now you are grasping at whatever you can. Does that mean the scum team is you/hydra? Not necessarily. But it's something I'm going to very seriously consider if one of you flips scum.

im becoming less sure about egg, though i dont like how he tries hard to show how town he is, how he's "scumhunting" and how his actions are actually townish. he cares too much about how he appears, and thats a scum trait.

however i think xegarus is scum. his posts feel like they're done just for the sake of posting. 24, 45 and 48 are essentially fluff, and so is 55 for the most part. in the end of 55 xeg asks others to give their reads instead of giving his own reads on what has happened - he only gives one. then he forgets his rvs vote(lets say we buy that) and from that point all his posts are self-defence regarding that.
tl;dr: enough posts to not be considered a lurker, almost zero content, self-defending that isnt really needed, lack of stances.

i wanna know what the other heads think too, but ill do this anyway

^some other highlights of this game that may be relevant here include: stating intent to vote during confirmations, having a solid town read in the first couple of pages (although it was on scum and I should have reconsidered), and not random voting.

On xeg, I can see all of that. He really hasn't given scum reads or even questioned people who he seems to see as potential scum or anything like that at all. But he says he simply hasn't developed many reads yet and that could be true.

I think it's likely X was scum but I want to give his replacement a fair chance. While we wait for a replacement I thought I'd focus my attention on the second most suspicious person. At the moment, that's Telo. Actually I think a scum team of Xegar/Telo makes good sense, at the moment
