Inspired by Lucid Dreamers mafia, I don't know whether this role is the best or the worst, but I'd certainly love to have it:
You are a

Troll

Each night, you can PM the mod to give your target a post restriction for the next day. The post restriction must not impede communication. The post restriction must be possible to follow (Though you are definitely allowed to make it incredibly hard to follow). The penalty for the target violating any post restriction you impose is death. You may also target dead players with post restrictions, who will be temporarily tree-stumpified. If they fail to follow the post restriction, they will be killed and changed into survivors. If they succeed, they will become tree stumps for the remainder of the game (Unless you impose another post restriction on them). You win when every other player in the game has voluntarily and honestly expressed hatred towards you. You can win after the game has finished, your role will not be revealed until you have won. You are deathproof. If you die, you will lose your vote but retain your ability to post and your night action. You cannot be roleblocked, redirected, or tracked.

I had a similar role, with Junpei I believe, in Magician Mafia.

I was town and he was scum though. And we didn't know about each other.
