I'll post in-thread reminding you all to update your Development Clients to new Snapshots as they become available, since the server will always be run off the most recent snapshot. that players have accumulated on this server will be provided so as to ensure a consistent experience.

P.S. OP updates are being discussed, all this information and more will be put in the OP tonight or tomorrow at some point...

Posting this for myself:

-Xmx1024m -Xms1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m

The above is java parameters i and maestro use in our ftb launchers to reduce lag extremely. I believe that particular problem is specific to macs, but feel free to try.

(Options-Advanced Options- Additional Java Parameters)

EDIT: Blake confirmed this is also helpful on windows.

So, today I decided to delve into the Twilight for a bit. In my..eh..20 minutes there, I found a Naga, which I killed rather easily, and a Hydra, which I killed with a rapier. DO YOU KNOW HOW FUCKING HARD THAT IS?! THOSE THINGS HAVE 1000 HP.

But, I got the trophies and got Clammy excited about the Twilight Forest, so now we're heading into there to fight a Lich and hopefully find a quest ram.
