Vote Count

Ripley (1) : wolfsbane
Echo419 (1) : Vaughn
Wolfsbane (7) : LuckayLuck, Cogito Ergo Sum, IH, M4yhem, Seol, Lowell, spectrumvoid

Vaughn (1) : Green Crayons

Not Voting: Echo419, Masterchief

And so, the fairytale characters make their first choice: wolfsbane. As the wizard banishes wolfsbane back into the book, words appear on the pages and his story is told.

wolfsbane was
Aladdin (Mafia Grunt).

It is now Night 1. Send in your choices now.

The game is still going. Lengthened night may or may not be caused by the ability to not find a replacement, receive night choices, or other unexplained stuff.

Day will come on Friday January 26, 2007, California time.

Day Two

The fairytale characters wake from their sleepiness for the day’s beginning. However, some characters seemed to be sleepier than others.

Seol was found dead. His body was apparently squashed and eaten. However, it wasn’t as horrible as Echo419. Various bite and slash barks seemed to pervade his entire body. Let’s not forget our dear friend masterchief. His death was so strange, not a single blemish, bruise, or injury was on him.

Seol
(Gretel, Townie)

Echo419
(Frog, Townie)

Masterchief
(Piedpiper, Doc)

It is now Day Two. With 4 players dead, that brings only 8 players left. It’s 5 to lynch.
"Miracles of Science" or "Freaks of Nature"?

So that means we have a Vig, an SK and Mafia. And the Vig killed either Echo or Masterchief, I'd be inclined to think Echo personally.

Glad to see this game again.

I think your speculation is reasonable, CES.

Okay, so Wolfsbane was scum.
I believe CES is non-mafia, seeing how strongly he pushed on the Wolfsbane wagon. Luckay started the wagon, so I think he is cleared for similar reasons.
And IH is almost certainly what he said he was, since Gretel is dead.

My current suspects for mafia:
Vaughn- I still think Wolfsbane was protecting him early in the game.
Spectrumvoid- placed the hammer vote, which could be a way to avoid attracting suspicion. I got the feeling she was avoiding talking about Wolfsbane.

Green Canyons- might have been trying to derail the Wolfsbane wagon, as pointed out by CES. Unlikely to be scum with Vaughn, I think.

I'd like to here more from Lowell, because I keep forgetting he's in the game.

And I'll
vote: Vaughn
to kick things off. Vaughn- I demand content from you! Your case against Echo, confirmed townie, was weak, and you have connections to Wolfscum. Explain yourself!

I want to hear more from Luckayluck, Lowell, and Green Crayon's myself. I feel that later in the day Luckay contributed nothing. Cause that's what he does.

Post 279 was made on Jan 3, and I said I wasn't satisfied with wolfsbane. I explained why I had ignored him and Vaughn in post 281 (+ it was the holidays... I'd rather celebrate Christmas than play mafia.)

LL voted for wolfsbane in 315. CES in 316. IH in 317, m4yhem in 321, Seol in 326.

I was away from MS.net when the voting occured. (I posted about it in V/LA.) When I came back in 328, I said I could see a wolfsbane lynch. I hammered in 349 because I didn't believe his claim.

I'll have a close look at Vaughn. I haven't been paying him enough attention.

I was also away from MS.net when the voting occured. I will take credit for starting the wolfsbane wagon, however...I will also admit that if I was around, I would have unvoted wolfsbane. I am a sucker for role-claims. :(

Also, I now suspect
M4yhem
- 3rd up on my list of suspicion after IH & Wolfs. Yes, his beginning post was a nice sort of "summary" (which I see from both scum / townie).

CES & IH can be trusted nearly 100% here.

LL: I thought by now you should've learnt never to trust people too much, and never to play the % game.

I think IH is cleared, due to the dead Gretel. I don't think LL is cleared for starting the wagon, I've seen scum do that to distance before.q

Who was Rathyr's replacement? I'm saying he's scum just from a tentative review of Wolfsbane's posts.

I'd say... CES would be a close second. Based only on Our lynched scums posts.

Reviewing other dead players posts.

What?
You must be joking me, I have connections to Wolfsbane?

I saw a scum-tell in Echo which I now chalk up to newbieness. I felt him to be too wishy-washy on the whole. Anyways, I'm not going to make a case against him now.

I will however ask that you show me evidence of my so called "connection" to wolfsbane.

Now now you all, let's not go hunting for lurkers.

Wolfsbane wrote:Holy OMGUS Batman! Dodgy gets a third vote from Rathyr and slaps an FOS on him while convienently leaving his vote somewhere else. Who's trying to start the bandwagon here?
Then LuckayLuck comes along with the less subtle OMGUS on Green Crayons. It's getting ugly in Fairyland. I'll leave my vote on Dodgy for now...
ONE:Wolfsbane uses Rathyr for a crap case on dodgy.
Wolfsbane wrote:So, you weren't trying to influence players' opinion of Rathyr in any way with that strange abbreviation? You would have been shocked and dismayed had someone placed a third vote on him after noting your increased suspicion?
TWO:Wolfsbane is trying to protect Rathyr's image from the strange opinion influencing abbreviation.
Woflsbane wrote:
Ripley, you say you don't have suspicions, but when I look back through your posts I see plenty of digs at Seol, plus some on Rathyr, and LL
. Sometimes you say the prolific posters seem town, sometimes you say they could be faking these arguments. You really do seem to have suspicions, but they aren't especially consistent and you aren't voting on them. I get the feeling you're just throwing stuff out there to see if something will stick.
(bolding mine)
THREE: Rathyr's name appears ONCE MORE. Rathyr wasn't exactly a "prolific poster" in this game I believe.
wolfsbane wrote:You seem to have a double standard here. You say Echo was probably busy, but Rathyr is scum for lurking.
FOUR:His name just keeps popping up, huh?
Wolfsbane wrote:I can sort of see where you might have gotten the idea I was protecting Rathyr/Vaughn. You are wrong of course. I think your assumption that Rathyr is scum is flawed which makes your conclusion that I'm his scum partner invalid. He didn't seem especially pro-town because of the non-participation, but Vaughn seems completely different.
FIVE:This is what did it for me. = ) We know that Wolfsbane WAS scum. That would mean that the above is invalid.

= )

I also believe that we have a vig, and that is the only reason that Echo is dead.
Untrod Tripod (7:27:18 PM): you enjoy whoring

I just got finished with exams, so now I need to get back into the groove of my mafia games - which means rereads. I'll post something soon.

I am extremely happy with the pressure on Vaughn, but I don't really understand where the mistrust of me is coming from.

Luckay- what have you got against me?
IH-Why the fos? Also, why is CES 'a close second?'

Vaughn- IH has quoted the relevant posts. I'd be
extremely
interested in what you have to say in response. Also, who's your top suspect?

Spectrumvoid- I will buy your 'away' explanation for now. Have you had a look at Vaughn? What do you think?

Nov 19
Metagaming: GC is more aggressive.

Dec 22
Told us to ignore him till we heard from him.

Dec 24
Seol is protown.
Dialogue between GC, LL, Seol: one of them is scum.
Echo + LL = scum.
LL scum-tell:
1) too eager to clear himself
2) wanting to lead scumhunt
3) for thinking activity = townie.

m4yhem:
Asked why to the 1st 2. Said the 3rd is unlikely. Said case against echo is thin.

Vaughn's response:
He's not connected to wolfsbane, evidence required.
He thinks Echo isn't scum, Echo is a newbie.
Doesn't want to lurker-hunt.

I want Vaughn to answer:
1) Why does he think either GC/LL are scum.
2) Why he thought Seol was protown at that time.

I want LL to answer:
Why exactly do you think m4yhem is scummy.

Unofficial VC
Vaughn: m4yhem, CES, IH

vote: Vaughn
(partly due to avoidance of questions, partly due to IH's post 368).

DO NOT HAMMER till we hear from him.
