The little Italian town of Yourmama used to be peaceful. When I say little, I mean there were 21 inhabitants. I don't know if that even counts as a town. But anyway. It looks like there's a mafia that's been operating in the community for a while, and that mafia killed the town mayor last night. Why? Because they're the mafia, dammit, that's why. So the town came to the only logical conclusion.

They're right - Lowell lies in three unpleasantly red pieces in his bed. After wiping away the blood on his ID card the town comes to the conclusion that:

He'd spent the night getting fed up with the name-changing bureau before finally becoming officially known as kardkraizee, only to find that he'd not had time to sleep. Not quite with it in the morning's mob meeting, kardkraizee started shouting loudly and shoving his name-change papers into people's faces. Unfortunately, this incited the wrath of Chuck Norris, who roundhouse kicked him to death and disappeared into the shadows.

After what seems like weeks (but clearly wasn't), the town finish squabbling and finally reach a consensus. After the previous two days of indecision there's a feeling of optimism around the town as they string up ~N9V~, confident that he was one of Livingod's goons.

I recommend that if I am either playing or modding in any of your games and I haven't posted for a few days, check the V/LA thread. I always put up notice of my leaves. I also asked people to post a reminder of that here because I was out of time, but that apparently didn't happen.

Yet again, I'm finding myself writing an apology for mod absence, and it's pissing me off almost as much as it must be pissing you guys off.

Same situation as the last time - I was away (7 days with no access earlier this month) and I just have a really hard time getting back into the mafiascum swing of things. I am not sure why this is the case. Maybe it's because I know inside that it eats my soul if I get into it. Maybe it is because I am lazy or have commitment issues. I really don't know.

I will be retaking over this game, and I will do it actively effective immediately. Now, by actively, I am maybe not talking "checking mafiascum seven times a day" like I used to be. That will probably come with time. For now, it'll be once a day. I will make a real effort to get vote counts done regularly and prods too.

Thanks for putting up with me before. Now, let's finish this game. All night choices to me.
