You're probably just jumping on shadows, "miller" boy.

No, he's asking why scum would NK a miller because millers are shitty roles and never really "conftown" whether we believe you or not on the first day.

Sven, it surprises me that your posting is so incredibly weak because I expected you to be someone to liked aggression, meaning you could handle a bit of heat. But now I see I have to treat you like a emotionally distressed newbie...

shouldnt meek equal scummy here?

and dont call me meek again.
Meek doesn't always equal scummy, sometimes it just equals meek.
And I call it how I see it. If you don't want to be interpreted as meek, don't be meek. Attack something. Defend yourself with more authority. If you're backed against the wall, start cackling like a mental patient.

Usually scum that feels the need to sheep someone else to take a stance aren't this aggressive when someone calls them out for sheeping. I purposely had a bit of a reaching attack, so the emotional response is pretty unwarranted at all. GiF's a little harder to explain, but his bias of MS isn't necessarily in a scum mindset. I'll be a little suspicious of him if MS turns out to be scum (since the claim of bias could actually just be covering up him being uncomfortable putting forward a read on his scumbuddy), but otherwise there's not really a scum advantage in having trouble reading what might be an easy lynch.

Hell yeah. He just came off a game where I was his IC and we cleaned house pretty harshly, and his first instinct was to latch onto me a bit, figure out why I'm thinking what I'm thinking. I'd guess that he would be far more afraid of me as scum, maybe try to avoid me a bit; the way that he called us both town was also pretty genuine, with the "the aggression doesn't make them town but I think that the way things went down was pretty town" and all. He also has three townreads, which is more of a stance than most.

As scum the only reason for doing this is to claim to stay alive but there REALLY isn't this much pressure on his this early.

...
Not sure what I feel about this.
I see an appeal to emotion more likely than not; the fact he was going "ffery is buddying up to the Great Svenskt" and shit like that earlier and the fact that he doesn't bite back read pretty badly to me. Then there's the constant discrediting of me being bad for having one incorrect scumread and the fact that he crumbled completely and pulled the "i'm lurking this game out. oh and i'm a tracker too" heavily influences me towards calling him scum. But he has cracked regardless of alignment, so I'll leave a few others to sort out that scumread and make sure I'm not going CRAZY DEATHTUNNEL NACHO mode (remember that Calcifer game where we lynched a mason? like that), but I feel good about him so I'm just going to sort other reads out for now.

P-Edit: wallz!
His "no scum would ever do that!" followed by me linking to that game and him backing down with an "oh." seemed extremely genuine to me. Usually when scum are looking for things to attack, they don't like to be left with egg on their face but that backdown told me that he doesn't really give a shit if he looks bad while backing down. His response to orc telling him to vote was also pretty genuine; he just tried to vote and was debunked, meaning he doesn't really see anything in thread and that's perfectly fine.

Ffery, the differences I am not comfortable with:
Sven's breakdown in the other game was gradual, and he did a lot of hunting before he went down. Here, I gave him time to get something going and he gave me a half-hearted vote someone who posted absolutely nothing scummy and I sure as hell know that he can give me something better than that. He gave me excuses why he wasn't here, he hasn't shown any of his normal aggresssion this game.
In that game, he appealed outside of the person who was voting him. He made you explain his towniness to him because he was confident in it; here he discredited the hell out of me after saying "oh yeah, you and orc are doing good". In the other game, he was faced with a situation where he was pushing a read, no one was listening to him, people will clearing his scumread that was pushing him for retarded reasons. Here he just crumbled, no attempts to do anything. I can bring insane pressure when I want to. This is nowhere near what I am capable of. Sven is also ignoring all of the game while I was attacking him, he didn't do that in borkgame.
I hate the claim. Saying "I give up" then claiming NOT HIS FULL ROLE is complete and total bullshit. If he gave it up, he's put it all on the table. But the "tracker" portion was an afterthought. That says "oh, miller claim scummy? better add town utility to it.".
There's the difference in between him saying "I'm replacing out" and "I give up" but clearly not giving up; one is genuine regardless of alignment, the other is pretty fucking bullshit considering he didn't even need to take a step back from the game.
Finally, my gut loves Sven. I love Sven. He's not playing to his usual self, and he knows that. But going for the discredit instead of taking my reach out when I give it to him is pretty strongly scum vibes.

Pedit: There's the "oh man this role is so shitty why am I stuck with it!!!" scumtell which is fucking strange considering a minute ago he was talking about how he was going to be accepted as town and nightkilled.

I think it was actually a good call for you to attack him for that reasoning. Thinking of his "miller tracker" as two roles is pretty weird, but it would make sense for him to think of them as two roles since they were two different fakeclaims. I don't like scumslips in general though.

None of his meltdown has been genuine to me thus far; it's happening too fast, the response is too weak, and Sven is getting mad at me playing the Alpha Male style even though he thrives on that shit as town. He has not tried to address this at all, and the fact ffery is missing ALL of this is strange to me. I see her flopping back and forth on Sven reads, and Sven sees her flopping back and forth on reads, but it just feels like they are picking up on each other fucking up and trying to adjust to it.

I'm pretty convinced on him.

You and I both know how stubborn ffery gets with her meta reads. When she reads me as town, she dismissing everyone who starts getting paranoid of me. But she's living a MOLLIE read to someone else? I don't care who the hell it is, the fact she would be willing to put a meta read on the person who she has played with the most and who knows her best pings pretty fucking hard for me.

I said fery is playing differently but said in pj that she thought her playstyle was different on here and I said that I would have to keep that in mind, remember? majiffy and nacho will be able to sort out buldey I think maybe I can too. I said I thought hers and sven's exchanges smelled like scum theatre and that nacho picked up on it too is a huge sign that we need to pay attention IMO. I am going to probably follow nacho's and majiffy's lead in this. does this make sense?

I think it is super risk <little reward for scum to claim miller on d1 cos if there is a vig with half a brain they will make it nowhere near to endgame. miller/tracker on the other hand is a brilliant scum gambit cos it leaves a kernel of possible usefulness that would at least get him to midgame I mean sajin is already like "hey let him live til d3!" and he has a good point, but leaving a scum tracker in the game is REALLY dangerous cos increases scum's potential to find specials. scum would have to be really confident that they could convince town that they were town for realz and would require a lot of skill. I don't know sven so I do not know if he has that skill level or confidence or not.
In post 380, BeautyAndTheBeast wrote:well I am liking some of what you are posting so far. her play is different in this game but she said in pj that she had already noticed that it was different so I was warned and I am not going to jump all over her for it. between the 2 hydras, nacho and orc, I think we can all sort each other out. my only thing with you is that I haven't actually gone up against you as scum before but I am tired of fighting with you too so I am only going to go there is nacho and majiffy scumread you.

Yeah I actually penciled them in as town based on Mollie jumping in. I still can't get past her voting svenskt while pointing at me. She's quite proud of having spotted me as scum in several games, so if she thinks that I'm scum I'd totally expect her to come at me full bore, not vote someone else.

I think my reaction to you being scum was because mollie is currently reading town to me to the point where I think most people should be reading her as town. mollie's scumgame has been in a rut lately, and i've never seen anyone break out of a rut by doing anything like this.

ffery, I liked how you picked up on Sven missing an entrance gif. I don't like how you picked up on me not giving a deal to buldermar this game.
I don't like how buldermar responded to my Cabd town read. I don't like his vote on TD.
I'm confused why you asked me if I read mollie correctly recently.
I don't like how you were confused at mollie "expressing suspicion and not giving a vote", but I liked your comment about "this doesn't feel like room".
I didn't like how I picked up on Mollie engaging instead of Majiffy before you did, and I don't like how it feels like you're not actually waffling on the mollie read; it feels like you're just doing that for posture.

I can still see her thought process in BSG, is the problem: she's not hitting the reads she needs to be hitting, she's snarky, she's still with it. Here I feel like she's not lucid, she's not addressing reads. I don't like that jump on mollie, and I don't like to see her hard-waffling on the mollie read, staying in answering questions instead of asking some of her own as per the usual. As she's going down in BSG, (and this might just be hindsight bias) I'm seeing towntell towntell towntell towntell towntell. She literally feels like mollie offsite; the doubt is so real, and the scumhunting never stops, never. I'm hesitant calling her a strong scum read because I don't understand the mollie/ffery interaction, but.

you this to me all of the time at tr. it is central to one of the main reasons as to why fight.

I said I would give you room and I am giving it. it is right there in poetic justice.

I have told you in gchat that I was going to give you more room in games cos I like to play with you.

why do you suddenly have amnesia and have forgotten all of this.

you are doing scummy things like not giving a lot of reads, hedging, not following up on those reads. you were indie in that game. I don't have a baseline for your town game on THIS site.

we covered this shit in poetic justice.

I swear to god you people don't actually read my posts you just do whatever and draw your own conclusions.

I also told you last week that I was in too many games.

orc I am not going anywhere lol, don't panic

I am clinging to you and nacho like a barnacle you will need an axe to pry me off
Yeah I remember all that. So, I'm going to have to put up with shit like this until you do have a baseline? Joy.

Fakeclaiming miller is a moronic and dangerous gambit that I have never actually seen a scum use, and that's in like 20+ games.
This is TD's response to orc asking him to vote Sven. While he could have sheeped, could have said "ok, cool", he looked through the thread again, found a better vote. Yeah, it's strange that he's voting for me and not for orc, but I like that he at least made an attempt on independent thought.
In post 99, TiphaineDeath wrote:Huh, interesting.

unvote
Then, when I bring up evidence pointing out that yeah, fake miller claims happen, TD backs down completely. No fuss, no talk, no complaints. I liked that the unvote came so clean and so immediately; normally when scum get called out on something like that, there's a little more complaining before they drop it.
In post 168, TiphaineDeath wrote:not feelin' it, I'll get to back to you with a vote when I am :).
orc tells him to vote, he tells orc no.
fuck that.
In post 278, TiphaineDeath wrote:My thought process here is pretty simple guys, I voted nacho because he felt opportunistic springing on something I'd never seen happen before, but have seen scum try to get a lynch out of. He proved me wrong, so I unvoted. Now I am going to revote because of the wifom shitstorm that sven has created.

vote sven
Vote doesn't come from pressure. It might be a not that original vote, but I definitely wouldn't call it a bad one. The WIFOM shitstorm that Sven generated from "I wouldn't do this, I wouldn't do this, I wouldn't do this" is pretty solid.

That being said, I don't really mind votes on him; he just seems like a slow start player in general, so I'll be much more interested in things once he posts his catchup.

I'll post a reads list sometime this morning and I'll indicate if it's a consensus or solely my thoughts. Not sure when buldermar and I will connect.
I'm still waiting for you because your reads aren't what I'm looking for. I have a general feel how your hydra works, I know how it is to be the passive partner. But this isn't you being the passive partner, this is you playing off. I'm only willing to cut you a certain amount of slack because of mollie frying your wires.

The first quote is Varsoon being concerned that he has to make the "big play" in order to sort out his middle reads, then he tries to reach out for a townread, then he tells you to calm the fuck down. None of those is scumflail. This is not a scum mindset:

"I have to do.
Something.
Crazy.
SHEEP SVEN AAAAAGGH"

It's a Varsoon mindset. I don't know why him telling you to calm the fuck down is getting overwhelmed, not scumflail.

sorry, unfair.
but I don't really think that it's relevant to this game.

First of all, your read was oriented completely around TD-me-mollie-orc, things like that. You ignored the Varsoon situation completely, and you found nothing to comment on from anyone else. What do you think of everyone else?
In post 844, ² wrote:I was mostly concerned with how mollie didn't have any clear read on our slot. First she simultanously read me as town and f as scum. Then she simultanously read me as town and scum. Usually she has a clear read, even when she's wrong.
Why did this concern you? Was there a game you played with mollie-scum where she didn't have a clear read on you?
In post 848, ² wrote:If you didn't already, please clarify.

I asked you what you thought of her, saw nothing. What do you think of her and her specifically?
In post 850, ² wrote:Which I did. She told me that the two of you had a run in, that Nacho decided we're scum and that orc wants us to vote varsoom, who went on a wall-posting spree overnight with utterly bizarre stuff. I then told her I'd be reading and she told me she'd not be posting for a while.
And you not commenting on Varsoon at all but commenting on us, commenting on me. That was suspicious. It shows you're more concerned about fixing your rep than looking for the scum you're supposed to be finding.
In post 859, ² wrote:I'll almost guarantee that he will scum read me even if the two of you are town - that's sort of what he does.
This seemed strange, considering your immediate townread on Majiffy after. I felt like you were preemptively defending against the Majiffy scumread, especially since I don't remember him ever calling you scum except when he was scum and being an idiot.
In post 880, ² wrote:What can I do to help you stop being an idiot?
You usually know when I'm empty shit-talking.
You know that I'm not sure of a scumread on you two or I wouldn't be afraid to tunnel the shit out of you.
In post 899, ² wrote:Nacho, how the fuck can you be town reading this?
This question is very, very late. You never followed up when you mixed him and Cabd up before.
In post 902, ² wrote:What independent thought?
Read his most recent post that's not "town rage".
In post 903, ² wrote:You don't really mind votes on him? How is that compatible with town reading him? Why don't you just explicitly admit that you're wrong with your read on him?
My townread on him until recently had to make a lot of inferences. Since he's not as bleedingly town as others, I would rather people like orc put on TD votes instead of Varsoon votes, for example.
In post 907, ² wrote:I thought I already explained why I mixed up the two at the time. What is it that you think the problem is exactly?
Lack of followup. You were like "whoops, wrong one". And the fact that you didn't notice you mixed them up until I pointed out you did showed me that you sure as hell didn't read my reasoning for him being town. But mostly, it was the lack of followup.
In post 911, ² wrote:What the fuck? No I fucking wasn't. I identified you on my own, which I'm positive she can confirm.

Also fuck you for trying to discredit me in this manner.
Sorry, I fucked up. But did you really think that I was trying to discredit your town game?

I also don't understand why ffery stopped posting. Taking a step back? Cool. Completely vanishing before she gives out her complete read set? Bad.

I still have a townread on you. But if GiF sees something, then I'm not just going to ignore it. I'm guessing most people are going to pick up false positives on you, but if I want to defend you, I want you to actually be town. GiF is our designated tunneler for finding out if you're worthy to join our club or not.
