Damn
this feels easy.

Well, for tomorrow. Canuckle, I know what conclusion I drew from 709 (and 726). You do realize what that conclusion hinges on, right?
Forgive me if I appear a bit dense here, but I'm not seeing the smoking gun against Arafax. Jack made some good points, but I just don't understand what has pushed this wagon to lynch-2 so fast.

I prefer an IH lynch, but I could be persuaded to join the Arafax wagon if I see some convincing evidence.

I don't know whether to be proud to be the forefront of the Arafax bandwagon or upset that this town wagoned Arafax on so little evidence.

I don't know if I should unvote or keep my vote on.

I don't know if I should be a lapdog for this town's bandwagoning needs or if I should threaten to kill myself in this game again.

Ether wrote:Zindaras, assuming that IH is scum, Arafax would be a quite logical scumbuddy. Look at post 709. Look at his eagerness to get back onto the Jackwagon the instant I call him on this, when the Jackwagon appears to be through anyway and the IHwagon is gaining ground. He can't provide a clear reason why, and he's flailing for an excuse.
No. I prefer to do it the other way around. Lynch the scum first,
then
look for his scumbuddies. I'm far more sure about IH than I am about Arafax, so I'm keeping my vote on IH. While your point is a valid one, I feel that IH is the play today.

This 1-2 is a scum 1-2. Your 1-2 was a town 1-2, with a claimed cop being one of them.

Arafax has been very under-the-radar for me here and for him to suddenly go from virtually zero to lynch minus one in two pages seems a bit much to me (and imo, usually a lock of townie with some scum (one or two of the three?) on him.

I strongly dislike an Arafax lynch, I believe his roleclaim of peasant

The reason I voted him was because he seemed to jump on a differnet bandwagon once the one he's been on diffused, coupled with not a whole lot of stuff coming from him.

Bandwagonhopper + not a lot = possible scum.

Now I am so much less sure because apparently that could describe most people in this town.

My gut just gave me a name...I'll have to see if I have the evidence to pursue.

I'm feeling the same way. I have the urge to unvote and take him away from lynch -1, but this seems to be the best vote, regardless of how weak it is. :?

Wait a second...I claim "Peasant" which everyone who actually is vanilla knows is the role title...I did not claim "vanilla" or anything dumb like that....Of course all 10 of you can't be scum, but I admit that I'm suprised.

Again, Jack wanted to lynch our claimed cop...Yet you all vote me....Wow!

Good job scum; whichever one of you it is...I'd guess STD & Jack for the record.

Is your point that you knew the vanilla townie role title was "Peasant"? It's in the OP, this signifies nothing, why would you try to use it as an argument?

You are a lowly peasant of Jellugi. Your abilities include blood-curdling screaming upon death, and softly whimpering yourself to sleep at night. Luckily, however, you do have a say when voting for who shall be lynched each day. You win when all Anti-Town roles are dead, and at least one townsperson is left alive.

Confirm by PM.

Bong.

A sole drumbeat echoes through the square.

Bong.

Arafax is led, via a slow and solemn procession, towards a small set of rickety, wooden stairs. He turns his head behind him to look at the crowd, who all stand silently with faces set in grim disapproval. He takes a sharp inhalation of breath, and tries to calm himself.

Buddle
-uddle-uddle-uddle-uddle-uddle-uddle-
Bong

His left foot creeps up onto the first stair.

Bong.

He momentarily tries to put up a feeble struggle, but cannot wrest free from the bonds tied around his wrists.

Bong.

Upon reaching the apex of the dais, a noose is fitted around his neck. Arafax closes his eyes and grimaces, while still being forced to hear the final, suspenseful drum-roll.

Clack!

The platform drops from beneath his feet, and his neck is snapped from the momentum of the fall. He hangs motionless.

Upon investigation, it turns out he has a few Jellugian coins in his pockets, and nothing more. He was but a peasant.

Arafax, Peasant, Townie, has been lynched!

It is now
Night Three
. Deadline is January 27, at 11:59 pm PST. Those who do not send in night choices will be considered to have not made a choice at all.

Silently, he sneaks across the Throne Room. His eyes cast to the left, and note the hallway filled with shadows. His eyes cast to the right, noting the giant portrait of the Royal Family. They smile at him innocently, and it seems as if their own eyes may be following him.

With a final burst across the room, Zindaras reaches the King’s Throne, laying his head upon the seat. “Yes, yes… once the Royal Family is gone, all will be good and well. Mmm, mmm.” He begins caressing the velvet with his hands, while eyeing the jewel-encrusted arms of the chair. “It shan’t be long now,” he whispers.

Just then, a small door from the portrait silently swings open, which goes unnoticed by Zindaras. The shadowy specter glides silently and swiftly into place.

Zindaras turns around. The force from the blow turns him around again. He is found dead the next morning in the courtyard.

Zindaras, Usurper to the Throne, Unknown, has been killed!

The Portcullis is down, sealing the first exit.
The Drawbridge is raised, sealing the second exit.
The Jail is empty, and locked.

It is now
Day Three
. With
18
alive, it takes
10
to lynch!

Zindaras's name is green, which suggests he's town-aligned. Also, we're missing too many kills for there to be an SK around. Cult strikes me as unlikely, given that the high mod PJ would rather burn himself alive than deal with cults.

If anything, I might guess that he was a miller or a protown survivor.
I replaced into Chess Mafia for 6 months, and all I got was a win and this lousy sig.
