Yes, but: if you're obv-town and you get lynched, the rest of us deserve to lose anyway. There's no reason not to put yourself out there and be town, you have roughly 0% chance of being night killed until the mod hates your guts and gave you a role that suicides on Night 1. What's more, more of us WIN if we lynch the right person.

You are really the only person who's put this into 'I'm trying to avoid to get lynched so I can win the game'.

His playstyle's reasonably alien to me: I waver back and forth. That's generally meant by 'meh'. Any badness in his play has been sort of eclipsed by others.

Why would we want to restrict the only Day we've got?

To avoid excess fluff... so that we can do proper isos/spot reads to solidify reads.. 40 pages is ample if you ask me.
