People tend to greatly overestimate scum. 80% of the time the scum QT is full of lurkerscum, no one is plotting anything and it's totally apathetic and derpy. That's even when I'm there trying to push activity and get my scumpals involved and having the mod prod them at night.

is because I knew some townie would come and second guess himself, and Zdenek's fakeclaim was very ill-conceived and totally bogus. But if you wait long enough, people start to unvote, wah wah wah maybe we have 2 1-shot BP townies, why would he claim this if not true, then (I couldn't predict that at the time) you might have come then and claimed something different and you would have been run up.

It's the same with Majiffy. Marangal lurked and replaced out and signed up for new games the next day, RandomYoshi was so scummy I wanted him to eat rope spaghetti, and now the third incarnation, Majiffy, is completely useless and totally butthurt, too, because his least favorite players correctly pegged him as scum so he's pretending not to care.
