In my first game of Mafia: I got told I was chain-sawing by scum.
In my second game of Mafia: I was told chain-sawing is dumb in the dead chat, because you're supposed to defend your town reads.
In my third game of Mafia: I defended 2 town reads of mine, both of whom were town that game.
In my fourth game of Mafia: I defended a player who was about to get lynched and successfully broke down his wagon. They lost anyway and I got lynched day 1. The person I defended was town that game.
In my fifth game I was scum that game! WOOT. I didn't defend town that game.
I am here, in my sixth game of mafia. And once more I have defended someone. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.

What I am getting at is: I'm town this game.

rememory: chainsaw defense is when you defend your scumbuddy against town. wking is when you defend a player and while it used to be scum oriented enough town do it that it is a null tell

@Mollie: I know what the term means, I read a bunch of scum theory my first game. The only difference between a chain saw and wk (I don't know what wk means, strangely) is the motivation behind the defense.

I am really not sure at this point.... Still working on sorting out the noise from the signal. Without going into detail I have more than one game with hyperposters, plus modding my first newbie and so on. May end up having to replace out of a game, but will stay with this one and replace out of another.
The flip tonight, plus seeing what happens with the claimed PRs and results will definitely help me with sorting stuff out, Not liking the sudden unvote from Mantis though. If we had a fair bit of time that would be different but we are only hours away from deadline.... We need information and a NL is detrimental to that process.

Though that is not always the case we were all chatting away in chkflip's micro cult thingy and the deadline hit us and bam we had a NL...

Ever since then I have gotten a lil paranoid.... Especially since town lost that game and I am sure part of that loss was not having that first day of info.

I do think SE is scum. I think peeps are giving them too much leeway.

Mantis can go in the scum pile too, that push then sudden vote change and stating IDK this close to deadline seems rather fishy

I know peeps are responding to Rem's style but I think he is prob town, plus he has a good point about the SE slot.

It does seem like the easy lynch which would be something that scum would go for and push, or the converse, try to defend heavily (if you know they are a town slot), and trying to get town cred.
