Fair enough tsq.
LyingBrian, about month of that 2 months went with the forum problems. I still think you did a sudden deal there. With mod announcing there'll be prods and possible deadline, why couldn't you wait for input from other players? Also, obviously I would've liked to hear from Dirge before going to night.
The fact that Pooky was a serial killer (at least that's what I presume) is one reason for me voting for you, yes. If he would've been mafia, I doubt my vote would be on you at the moment.Music makes the world go 'round,

@olio
i think PookyTheMagicalBear's official title is SerialLyncher... not sure what the difference is, but my uneducated guess would be that he has some sort of day-power, which means we still have 2 night-killing groups... also, it wasn't that quick of a decision... it was 2 weeks from when i came into the game until i made the deal... also your point about if PookyTheMagicalBear had turned up mafia would mean i'm cleared i rebuttal w/ 2 points... 1) based on PookyTheMagicalBear's title, i would say we still have 2 killing groups, which means i could be from the 2nd Mafia, or whatever; 2) i have seen a number of times, and even done it myself, where a teammate will throw another teammate under the bus to make themselves look more innocent...
i'm sorry if you think i should've given PookyTheMagicalBear more time to spin more webs of lies, but when i first read the day i had a feeling either PookyTheMagicalBear or Dirge was scum... at first i thought it was Dirge, but then i re-read, and decided it was PookyTheMagicalBear, that coupled with the fact that he was lurking made him suspicious enough for me to lynch...
@MrBuddyLee
do you have a counter-proposal?..
sorry for using the size tags, but i don't like people ignoring me...-

A Lyncher only wins if whoever he is assigned is lynched. Not Nightkilled, lynched. I'm not sure of any further detail, but I imagine A SERIAL lyncher might get a new person everyday maybe? Maybe he has to get at least 2, 3 of his assignments lynched to win?"There is nothing more exhilarating than to be shot at without result." - Winston Churchill-

Interesting choice of words. I didn't say you would've been cleared, I said my vote wouldn't probably be on you.LyingBrian wrote:your point about if PookyTheMagicalBear had turned up mafia would mean i'm cleared...
How does a lurker/non-participator spin more lies? Game 5: Betrayal at House on a Hill - Attacks
Atticus attacks LyingBrian with a freshly sharpened pencil! He'd be able to use it to do his homework, if it wasn't covered in his blood. (LyingBrian loses one Speed point.)

It pains me to agree with LB but I think that he's right, these reasons are kinda lame to vote him. Besides, didn't you guys defend Pooky for the same reasons that you find suspicious in LB?LyingBrian wrote:so i'm getting voted for lynching a serial killer...
i reread most of the day, and agreed that PookyTheMagicalBear was scummy, so i lynched him, plus it helped the game progress by moving into night... that day had already taken 2 months...
MrBuddyLee, do you have a counter-proposal?..I wouldn't change a stroke, cause baby I'm the most... - Prince-

semantics... cleared, not suspicious, whatever... obviously i won't becleareduntil the game is over or i'm killed, but my points still remain...
by being forced to post w/ a prod... also what other players were you talking about... mith made the post about prods @Fri Dec 15,2006 9:40:16AM... here's a list of the players and their last post before that....olio wrote:How does a lurker/non-participator spin more lies?

so, you were talking about MrBuddyLee?... i think he has contributed less than myself, and he has been replacing jeep longer than i've been replacing ibaesha... the next 2 in line, Quagmire & Fritzler were already voting... Quagmire for PookyTheMagicalBear & Fritzler for me... Fritzler didn't give any information in his post voting me about why he was voting me, and even when i asked him, he responded with "why not?"
- Post #988Dirge wrote:It pains me to agree with LB but I think that he's right
seriously guys, we need to pick up discussion... right now, i find Atticus suspicious b/c of his wishy-washiness yesterday... first i was suspicious for not lynching PookyTheMagicalBear, then i was suspicious for wanting to lynch him...
vote: Atticus-

What the hell?
I wanted to lynch since he voted me. Once I became boss, I wanted to make sure he could at least claim, that he wasn't a power role, before I lent the dealing hand of death. (something you didn't let him do.)
So unless you have some bogus definition of wishywashyness to give me, that's well, that's just you being stupid."There is nothing more exhilarating than to be shot at without result." - Winston Churchill-

Hey Dirge, wanna answer my questions directed to you? And no, I didn't defend Pooky as much as I attacked your case against him, which I still think was a weak case.
You exaggerate words, you'll get flak from it. "Cleared" and "not suspicious" doesn't equal "my vote wouldn't probably be on you" in my book.LyingBrian wrote: Post #984

LB, on 14th of December you said
Two days andLyingBrian wrote: i don't have any plans right now to lynch PookyTheMagicalBear... that may change after my re-read, but that last move was to balance out the families better, previously, i only had 1 family influence, while you had 5... i'm giving myself another option besides myself for the lynch (Post #936), and also protecting myself in case somebody else plays a card which removes me from power... if i was so gung-ho to lynch PookyTheMagicalBear, why haven't i done it yet?..FIVEposts later you execute him. That's where I think you were hasty and didn't wait to hear from other players. Also your reason for executing him at that time was:
One more thing: Anonymities expressed his worries about you lynching Pooky and was nightkilled. At the moment I think it speaks against you.LyingBrian wrote: PookyTheMagicalBear's play is scummy (besides the fact he mysteriously disappeared)

I'd say you were lucky, as I still view your case as a weak one.Dirge wrote:

Hmm... I honestly don't remember why I put a FOS on Atticus. My vote is on LB, so I doubt I'd FOS him too.

Yeah, I guess it's burrowed in midst of all that text I've spewed out. Usually you can find questions by searching for question marks.
The whole question - "Do you think that FB being scum means that Pooky is town?" - was utterly meaningless from pro-town point of view. If you "really" meant it to be "My point is why are you all defending and deferring to Pooky?", why didn't you ask it like that?Music makes the world go 'round,

this entire game, i've just had a gut feeling on atticus as scum. he's seemed to go through the entire game acting as a peacemaker that's completely inoffensive to everyone around him. whenever scumminess has been attributed to him (namely, pooky), he's made attempts to deflect that attention to someone else.
i'm hesitant to vote for him, though. here's why:
-pooky was the serial lyncher, obviously. i'm pretty confident that atticus was his lynch target (assuming that's what the serial lyncher IS), because it would make sense for pooky to build up a beautiful case against fishbulb so that he could breeze through the next person easily once it was shown that fish was scum. with that said, does mith really put the lynch target on a mafioso? usually, lyncher targets are pro-town individuals, and because of that, i don't want to attack atticus.
