vote draygn_mage
Scummy post. You put the third vote on draygn_mage and use "for the randomnesses sake" part to distance yourself from the bandwagon.
Unvote, vote AngusHutchskyUnvote, vote milkmanfor lack of counting ability. That was the 2nd vote on draygn_mage. Also, you seem to be making a serious accusation when there isn't much to go on.-

And you let them get away with that feeble excuse?AngusHutchsky wrote:milkman wrote:Plus, in the games I have played on other sites (this is my first on MafiaScum) the Mafia convieniently(sp?) forget how exactly the game goes so they can lurk without being suspicious.
Seriously, did dragyn_mage sound serious to you? His exact words were 'let's see if I can remember', not 'I have forgotten', and I think they were fairly obviously a joke.#greenshirtthursdays-

5. Votes should be bolded and in this format:Vote: Playerto count. I will not accept a vote unless if it is in the correct format.Unvotes are not necessary to place your vote somewhere else, but they are recommended.-

Wow, one innocuous comment seems to have been pounced on like a baby bird out of the nest.
Being that he's new here, I don't think Angus understood the joke behind the comment. I haven't been on site in months due to real life issues. I don't know if he's also relatively new to the game of mafia though, as his seemingly conflicted reason for voting would indicate.
They're right man, either you random voted me *or* you had a reason. You just can't say both. If you're random voting, well there's nothing I can say about that, but typically if you have a reason to vote someone, it should be a reason you are ready to back up.
If no one buys your reasoning, you have to be prepared for the bandwagon to roll backwards and over you, instead of the person you voted for.
Oh, and just for discussion sake, I have never heard of a scum claiming ignorance of how to play in order to lurk. I've heard them claim to have no opinion on what is being discussed, they've claimed general confusion, indecision, even concensus with the rest of the group (and in Baby Jesus's case, even boredom), but not ignorance of rules.Disciple of AniX- Who needs scumdar when you play by smell?

Fair enough. I didn't check the unvoting rules as I always unvote by force of habit.Y wrote:

Sorry, missed the unvote by coron. Still if that was the third vote that post would be really scummy. For now I agree with ChannelDelibird and you. His post was just worded badly.Jack wrote:milkman wrote:AngusHutchsky wrote:

Or this one?I thought I explained what I meant in my last post.It was a mostly random vote along with the fact that in other games I have played the Mafia likes to play dumb.So no, it was not completely random, but it had some randomness mixed in. Sad That doesn't explain it very well, but it's the best I know how.
I was randomly voting based on the attitude of the Mafia in games I have played in the past.
Or both?Everyone else is voting randomly, why are you picking on me? Go be suspicious of someone else's random vote.Plus, in the games I have played on other sites (this is my first on MafiaScum) the Mafia convieniently(sp?) forget how exactly the game goes so they can lurk without being suspicious.-

milkman,
Both of the posts you just quoted say the same thing only worded differently. You just didn't vote the part about it being random as well on the second post. You guys obviously do not get my reason, and I am fine with that, which is why I just left it at "at least I know why I put it there and so there it will stay."-

unvote, vote milkman
One quote said scum like to play dumb (period). The other post said scum play dumb so they can lurk without being suspicious. To me they are two diffrent things, so I left that post ambigious to see if angus would expand on his reasoning. It's hard to let go because I think Angus is scum.

It just seems so much like a tell to me. The reason for his vote was that scum like to act dumb in the games he played somewhere else, and he's been acting dumb himself.AngusHutchsky wrote: Everyone else is voting randomly, why are you picking on me? I find it interesting how you like to only use part of my quotes. In that first quote you might note that I also said I am not new to Mafia, yet you seem to have conviniently left that part out so that you could make the point that I am acting dumb. As far as the second quote, all I can say is it's true.-
