oh this game has officially given me a headache.

Initial thoughts from my first read through of 35 friggin pages on D1 and we still have a week to go.....

HD does do hard tunneling and iffen you want I can provide a game where he hard tunneled on me and neither of us was scum in it.

Majiffy and Mollie I was wondering when you two would hydra up lol.... I recommend getting a QT and pass messages on in there first for discussion and then provide the final response here. Less confusing that way. Oh and yes the separate browser is a great help, I used it for when I did a hydra with Elmo and when I was in the Author Mafia game as Marion Zimmer Bradley.

mcqueen get that vote off of you and focus more on scum hunting. Self voting never helps town out.

KImd get your but in this game.... I need to figure out your alignment.

@ Wisdom I cant go into detail because of ongoing game, once it is over I can tell you more. But I can say I am not very familiar with playing with slimer. Was not sure if he was joking or not. But after reading 35 pages that included much of "hey I am stupiders than yous." I was a tad annoyed with Slimer's response.

B and B did I say they were reads? no I said they were thoughts...

yikes meta is not helpful here... Wisdom only has one completed scum game which is really too small a sample size. He has a hyperactive and somewhat sardonic and aggressive playstyle. But that in itself does not mean town or scum it is null. Especially since I did not see a major enough difference in play tween the one scum game and the two town games I looked at (also a small sample size).

Have you played on other sites besides this one Wisdom or are you an Alt? You don't seem like a fairly new player, based on the games I just skimmed through.

For now I am placing you in the town pile because your motivations seem more towny than scummy. BTW I will say that yes my predecessor is a lurksack, but lurking is not a scumtell, town do it too. My bf is well known onsite for being a major lurker.

Going in the town pile... The amount of rage he showed feels more like town rage not scum trying to appear like town. Yes he does tunnel. Here is a game where even though he periodically voted for other people he hard tunneled me. (Bonus you get to see Majiffy, Mollie and I in this game as well.) I was Town, Mollie was Town and Majiffy was the SK. It was a Cult game.

Does anyone know if she normally plays this way? I've never played with any of you except for HD and Zab, so I'm wondering if this is normal for her. I'd be up for lynching her.

Pro-town. I completely agree with his stance on Mollie and Tiger and I really like the posts coming from him. He sticks to his reads and arguments in such a way that I do not at all question if they're genuine.

Leaning scummy. I agree with his reasoning for the Tigerzone PL, but I dislike the fact that he's kept his vote on the same slot since the beginning of the game. His scum-hunting essentially consists of him wanting to PL Tiger and questioning Wisdom about his stance on HD. He is only offering the Tiger PL, yet he dedicates posts to defending Mollie. I find the general lack of scum-hunting scummy. It also doesn't help that he has a decent post count in this game, which really drives the point home how little he's actually doing. ISO him and you find lots of posts, but little content. He played the same way in the game I played with him, where he was scum.

Right now, the best lynch is clearly Tigerzone in my opinion. He has a few votes on him, so I'm going to check the vote count before I vote him.

These reads??? Do you have any solid reads???? Seriously dude I could see this in a game where you are on like page 8 or something? But there are almost 40 pages here?

1. Not only has he not updated his reads since page 8, he has moved around going for the wagon that seems most likely to go through.

I could see a Kmd/DO partnership going on, but I would rather see a scum flip first.

at mod does the investigation/doc protects come before the kills in the night resolutions? It did not make it very clear in the Wiki? In other words, if a player gets NKed by scum, does their night action still go through?

Fine. I wanted to make sure often I was NKed my protection would go through. I wanted to wait til tomorrow when I basically became a by for all intensive purposes. My plan was to limp along on D 1 and not be too towny so the scum let me be so I could use my one shot PR (Doc), and then claim on D 2 if I needed to, so much for that plan... My mind was on the Author Mafia game (Yes I was Doc in that game, yes I sent in a protection on the town cop, yes I got NKed) How you say? There were two scum teams, Orange and Purple. Duh if I get Nked tonight it saves another Townie. Claim stands I am a Night one Doc which means after tonight I am basically useless save for my vote.

The whole force replace mess has no bearing on his alignment here, I doubt he was scum because if he was, I do not think he would have pursued his vendetta so hard, especially on Day 1. So turning to CF's posts now

Yep that is the towny CF I know... out there pushing hard and putting his vote where his mouth is. He is usually fairly aggressive as town. When he is not, I tend to assume he is scum. So CF? I got your thoughts on HD, though I disagree with you on him, What about Kmd?? Why do you think he should be in the scum pile? I know you don't automatically think a lurker is automatically scummy, so there must be something else.

Fuzzy/McQueen

Fuzzy seems to be trying to scum hunt, and it feels genuine. I rely a bit more on meta than he does, but he does have a point on HD. One game is not a big enough sample. And yeah I am getting to the Mollie/Hydra Mollie and Majiffy soon. And I have played several games with them (as themselves not as this hydra). Not just one. But as I said, and even HD said, he is a tunneler.

McQueen came in and is rather abrasive, but I believe that is his playstyle not something he is doing as being scummy.

Majiffy can be a tad abrasive at times, usually when he thinks someone is acting stupid, but I would not go so far as to call him an asshole though.... You do like attacking the player not just the playstyle don't you?

Again I may not like how he plays, and I can see why he gets PLed a lot, but that does not automatically mean he is scum.

hey bud, I gave you some pro-tips on how to scum hunt...you read a post and you determine the motivation behind the post. if you use that criteria you cannot say anything that I have done in this game is anti-town

also your fixation is starting to feel a little creepy and weird and/or downright scummy, I just can't tell if it is feigned or not

Mollie is right here... What do you mean she can't be read? More scum totes for DO... WTF. Mollie is pretty out there and rather transparent. At least in the games I have played with her. Will have to look for scum games but basically this feels like the towny Mollie I know quite well.

Majiffy adds even more flavor as the hydra partner. Not sure why McQueen had a problem with them doing a hydra together, I am kinda surprised it took them so long to do it. Slot is town I am fairly confident (not 100%) but I would say 85% or so.

And in reading her responses and then their responses to DO just makes me feel more confident about my vote on him...

I would add that I am seeing a pattern of active lurking here....

If being sick and so on, I can find the time to read all these pages, you should be able to DO. I have played the oh I am not caught up game before as scum, so no wash....

Kmd is really starting to annoy me here... I am going to find some of his games and show you how he usually is.

Yes and I know Majiffy could be... But like I said usually he pokes at me and then moves onto another person when he is Town. I wish I had a bigger sample size though of him being scum in games with me, then it would be stronger. Also can't forget Mollie in this, She rarely thinks I am scum. So the real push, especially after I claimed and stating outright that my claim is fake... Majiffy is usually smarter than that and so is Mollie. Why would they push so hard to get me lynched as Town after I claimed. After I even offered to be tomorrow's lynch if ya all still feel I am that scummy, so I can do my protect tonight?

Like I said more gut than case at this point, but it is bothersome that they are being so determined. Both of them have played enough games with me to know I suck on D 1. I am a big picture person and it takes me a good while to really sort peeps out completely. They also should know that I generally do not try to fake claim a PR as scum cause I know that backfires on you badly. You may get off one day, but it comes back to bite you in the butt soon enough. Overall when I am scum I keep to the truth as much as I can and still stay in my wincon.

In this set up I would have avoided claiming. I certainly would not have claimed up front before I was even at L-1 with intent to hammer.

Most likely would have lurked til after I was hammered.

hawk this is the first time I have played in a setup like this. Only other setup where I played and it was all PRs was Medical Mafia and I was a Nurse turned Doc the first time, and a Doc the 2nd time. And no I really did not take much time to look at the setup, I was too busy catching up on 35 pages of posts.

Bah Milt have you looked at any of Siv's other games? I would be happy to provide links. I have yet to see Siv get really active in a game no matter what his role is. And he often throws votes down with nothing much to say why he is throwing it down.

Ahh CF good to see you being your townie self but you are barking up the wrong tree here... Please help Wisdom find the real scum seriously after I am gone.

Kmd along with Zab have played many a game with me. One quick question Kmd, have you ever seen me fake claim as scum as being a PR when I did not have a PR?

How am I useless CF? Tonight either the scum kill me saving a Townie who has not yet used their one shot power (OR) I protect the target and that also saves a Townie to do their one shot power later. The worst case scenario is I pick the wrong person to protect. Tonight is the only time I am useful, after that I am nothing more than a VT.

You need to do better than that.

Wisdom is right McQueen if you think I am Town WTF are you doing on my wagon? Why are you not pushing the wagon you support on someone you suspect is scum? We have 3 viable wagons atm... So worrying about NL is not enough. Out of the 3 wagons (Wisdom, DO, and myself) who do you find the scummiest and why? The 2nd scummiest and why, and finally 3rd on the list and why?

That was who I planned on protecting since he seemed so strongly town and I figured that scum would want him gone.

Not surprised that Kmd and Zab were scum, the way they were on my wagon was very fishy.

I did that recently myself sigh replaced into a Newbie game and quickhammered the IC something which cost us the game (was scum with Rob13). Totally anti me since I dont believe in non lylo quickhammers no matter what my alignment. I did not realize dude was at L-1 and boy did I feel sheepish afterward....
