i absolutely love players that aren't willing to discuss their votes... does absolutely nothing to help the town...

- Post #938
Dirge wrote:You failed to answer the first question.
oh, sorry, i just reread your post based on Post #932
Dirge wrote:The second question you addressed but didn't answer.
sorry for the misunderstanding... as far as the 1st question is concerned
Dirge wrote:Can you point to something that I'm doing different now that I wasn't doing before Pooky blew up?
not yet, i wasn't really involved then... tell you what, i'll print out this day to-date, do a re-read, and get back to you on this...

@Thestatusquo

why?

- Post #944, 948
so i'm scummy b/c Atticus perceives i won't lynch somebody, and i'm also scummy b/c Anonymities perceives that i'm trying to lynch somebody...

@Anonymities
i don't have any plans right now to lynch PookyTheMagicalBear... that may change after my re-read, but that last move was to balance out the families better, previously, i only had 1 family influence, while you had 5... i'm giving myself another option besides myself for the lynch (Post #936), and also protecting myself in case somebody else plays a card which removes me from power... if i was so gung-ho to lynch PookyTheMagicalBear, why haven't i done it yet?..

- Post #950
right now i'm the boss, and if you move your vote, the only person i'll be able to make a deal to lynch would be myself... if you're so gung-ho for a lynch (Post #944), that wouldn't seem logical to me...

like i said, let me do a re-read of today w/ the past information...

This is why your "suspicions" of me are of me are scummy. You say that you don't know if I am playing differently yet you cite my taking advantage of Pooky's freak-out as reason to vote me.
LyingBrian wrote:i actually like Dirge for the lynch today... i haven't really built a case against him yet, per se, it just seems like he's taking advantage of PookyTheMagicalBear's outbursts & other things to manipulate the town...
How can you accuse me of taking advantage of something when you don't know how I have played it all along? You can't.

Atticus wrote: And sorry olio.

If you really expect me to beleive that Pooky was typing on your computer giving you those answers, then, well, that's an absurd idea.
I can't even imagine where did you get that idea. What I meant was that you could've easily checked Pooky's answers to Dirge's accusations by viewing Pooky's earlier posts. He has answered them already. If you'd really been conserned about Pooky's answered, you would've checked his posts and found that out yourself.
Dirge wrote: 1. How can you think that all that was due to MeMe and had nothing to do with deadline? MeMe is a pro, but as Pooky stated her hands were tied. Do you think that I am incorrect to think that those votes could have come from a desire to get information?
2. No, Pooky's tried to use it again.
3. My case isn't weak.
1. Why do you find such an idea so hard to believe? With "those votes" do you mean MeMe's votes or somebody else or both? If both, I don't think you're incorrect. But my point stays: you say Pooky lied about MeMe putting pressure on him, I say she did put pressure on him and you're exaggerating with your statement.
2. Your original point "2" was "Your reasoning for lynching FB was weak, yet you expect it to fly again. " In my opinion that reasoning wasn't weak.
3. In my opinion it is.

About the second part. Your question "Do you think that FB being scum means that Pooky is town?" is pure fishing.

When you asked that question you knew already that my vote is on you. Answers to that question are
a) yes, which would imply that I'm a cop with an innocent result on Pooky and stupid enough to blurt that out or I'm stupid enough to believe that FB being scum means that Pooky is town, or
b) no, which would be the answer you would get from non-stupid player.

The whole question was utterly meaningless from pro-town point of view. If you "really" meant it to be "My point is why are you all defending and deferring to Pooky?", why didn't you ask it like that? Furthermore, even that question is meaningless. My vote is on you and that should imply quite clearly I don't believe in your case, which should imply quite clearly that I believe you're making that crap because you're scum.

I'm sure that you of course knew all that already and had to ask for elaboration just to keep your facade up.

@Dirge

damn, i wish i could quote my PM... if not the actual PM, just the date & time stamp... i knew i was replacing ibaesha & made my first 2 posts before i received my role PM, b/c mith said it was on his home computer... of course, there's no reason to believe me, but that's the truth... it was just the scum vibe i got from you after a quick read... sorry, but i still haven't completed a full re-read, been extremely busy the last couple of days, but i gotta go to work right now...i work at 4:00 EST, and it's a 30 minute drive... i'll try to do the reread & post again by tonight...

Now honestly, that changes nothing.

If you were town, you would probably still feel he was scummy. If you were a pro-town role with investigations that he was scum, you'd obviously think he's scum. If you're scum, you'd probably still hold onto that not to look stupid.

@Atticus

Dirge said he found my "suspicion" of him scummy, what my point was is that it couldn't be a scum tell, b/c i didn't know my role... but anyway, i'm ready for a new day, 2 months for 1 day is long enough in my book, and PookyTheMagicalBear's play is scummy (besides the fact he mysteriously disappeared), so i'll make the deal

Scene 12 - July 27, 11:59 PM

The day seems to drag on forever.

It starts when the 10 remaining party animals are mysteriously transported to a generic board room, much as happened a couple days previously when they found themselves in a Tijuana wrestling arena (or at least, that's what they assume happened; none of them can actually remember what happened that day, as Scene 8 still hasn't been written). Time doesn't work quite the same way in board rooms, even in normal situations.

And soon the newly formed board finds that this is not a normal situation. Time seems to stand still on occasion, and some of the group suffer from short-term memory loss. A couple even completely change personalities.

Finally, one of these schizophrenic types takes the lead and, with enough approval from the rest of the board, he declares a deal to lynch Thesp.

Thesp has been silent for much of this time, and before he can protest the disembodied head (in a jar) of Donald Trump, which no one has noticed sitting in the middle of the table, shouts:

"You're fired!"

And a hole opens in the floor, dropping Thesp to his doom.

****

PookyTheMagicalBear, playing Thesp (The Bus, Serial Lyncher) has been lynched. It is Night 5, deadline is 96 hours from this post.

Scene 13 - July 28, 3:17 AM

"Why are we awake at this hour?"

"I don't know. I don't remember playing any Halo..."

"Mod's internal clock must be messed up."

"Hey, where's Fishbulb?"

"MeMe's missing too."

"Are we going to have to rename this meetup now?"

"And who is going to cook us breakfast?"

****

Anonymities, playing Fishbulb (Point Whore) and Fritzler, playing MeMe (Ned "The Band" Wilkinson) are dead. It is Day 6, 4 to lynch.

Game 9: Ultimatum

Doesn't this sound like it should be a TV game show?

This game is played between pairs of players. One is the "Divider" and one is the "Decider".

First, the Divider divides 10 MeMeMeet Points (any real number division allowed, as long as both are positive and they add to 10) between the two players. This first phase will last 72 hours. Players may discuss as much as they like within the thread during this time. However, once a division has been sent, it cannot be changed.

Once the division has been made, the Decider can choose to either accept or reject it. If the division is accepted, each player gets that number of MeMeMeet Points. If the division is rejected, neither player gets anything. This phase will also last 72 hours. During this phase, no discussion about this game is allowed.

If the Divider fails to send a division, a random one will be chosen, but the Divider will not receive any points whether the Decider accepts or rejects the division. If the Decider fails to send a decision, the Divider will receiver his share of the points and the Decider will receive nothing.

The players will be paired with two other players at random, once as the Divider and once as the Decider. All divisions and decisions will happen at the same time (so everyone will divide for a pair, and then everyone will decide for another pair). The proposed divisions will not be made public until the decisions are made; a player will only see the division that he is to decide on.

Pairings

(Divider listed first)

Atticus, 5 and 5. I sent my choice already as I'll have limited access to forums during Holidays.

No crap, just look more closely: MBL is paired with the Quagmire.

That was pretty sudden lynch in my opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong but in my opinion Pooky was a serial killer.
