ummm N did you REALLY just ask me about my predecessor?? lol.

I think he site flaked that is what I think about HM

Now correct me if I am wrong, but the mafia team got to pick the FIRST shooter, and since then the gun has passed to others only if they were mis shot and then the shooter died. Mafia has not had to pick a 2nd shooter right?

Think I'm still in favour of shooting Bumfuzzled next but do want to reread Limo just in case; feel like I've forgotten a significant reason why he was supposed to be town.

We're shooting you if we get shot - I realize my reads were off this game, however; this is my first game of forum mafia and Regfan hasn't been around for a week now, so I have no idea what his reads are - I'm really not familiar with forum mafia yet, and I was hoping he'd teach me with this game, however; he's just not there. Anyways, still fairly confident on HadMatter's slot being town, and I don't really have anything solid on AP right now. I'd shoot CDB before Limo, I felt like Limo's early game was fairly townie, and I still feel like he's leaning town.

In actually important news: Cheery and I disagree on who else to shoot. He says CDB or bum and I say Limo or AP. He's pretty confident about AP, and seeing as he's played with him before I guess I'll trust that. AP, would you say that Cheery can read you well?

@ Awesti (I hope I got your name right), maybe next time hydra with someone who is around more and willing to help teach. Also Newbie games are good cause us IC types are there to help show newbies the ropes.

Now back to the regularly scheduled program.

hmmm seems a bit of consensus here that CDB is scum?

How about you CN (aka Cheery and N) what do you think.

I am kinda leaning toward CDB as well but mainly because of PoE and the interactions tween the flipped scum and others.

@ Awesti based on interactions I would definitely put AP in the town pile. That was not a bus on Juke. Buses tend to be more subtle not screaming froo froo you are SCUM Kill it with fire type talk.

Like I said AP is probtown, I just do not see two scum going at it like he and Juke did. And we know Juke flipped scum.

Chances are AP is town, upon re-reading; I think scum would avoid to bus in that situation, since with the amount of people being town-read they would just be setting yourself up into auto-lose; the only people who I can see being scum is CDB or Limo - if Cherry/N can get a solid townread; they should just voice their opinion, and shoot - there's no reason to delay the game if you're confident of someone being town. For now, can we all agree on Rach being town? Cause if we can, then Cherry/N should just go ahead and shoot - we are in an excellent position.

Lemme re-phrase that: I'm fairly confident that most people here town-read Rach, so if we shoot outside of Rach, we should easily hit the mafia, since it would end with: Gunbearer, Mafia, Rach - and then Gunbearer can easily just shoot someone that isn't Rach. So, why would AP bus into an auto-lose situation like that, if he were to be scum?

oh duh yeah I was wondering how scum would win? lol obviously it is a bit more difficult for them than usual with this setup. Instead of 2 town and 1 scum end game like many setups I guess it would have to go down to 1 1? Or am I mistaken on that?

I have played a fair number of games on site but not familiar with the setup, I replaced in cause I really ♥ Jal and owe her one for jumping in to play in my games when I was modding.

Obviously the shooter mechanic is kind of like a mod confirmed Innocent Child mechanic in that the shooter has to be a Townie always. At least til the end? Or is there a chance for scum to get it? I really am not clear on that part.

Obviously the scum team picked HD for whatever reason as the first shooter and have not as far as I can see in the posts, picked someone else because everyone has shot someone before deadline.

Looking at the other reads of Juke before we shot him, you Limo and HM were the ones who weren't in support. If HM hadn't disappeared from the enitire site, I'd consider AP's attack on Juke to mean something.

It may just be my paranoia kicking in since it generally does when someone is being confirmed town, but scum do have day talk this game according to the sample role pms, it could have been a setup.

(I'd better leave the shooting to N, this paranoia means I'm now going to be useless)

P_edit; {*write} CBD was saying the best shot was Juke. If we're assuming scum don't want to bus at this stage, then CBD is probably town for the push there.

I don't think it's something scum would do in this situation, unless they really want to risk it and try to gambit - it's possible that AP bussed in this situation to get town cred, but even if he did - all we need to do is agree on a town-read, and then you can go ahead and shoot. I honestly won't be putting all that much thought into this game since it's pretty much auto-win for us, so.

A win where we just shoot scum now is more fun/worth celebrating over one where we just get it because it's a given.
