I really think that Nightfall is not a good target, he's been fairly open and his night choices are awkward, but I think we can definitely gain more information about NIghtfall if we leave him for another night. If we find out that the person he targets was protected or gained a cop investigation or some pro-town ability that is not a kill - then his role will become more clear. I don't want to go too far into the speculation, but something in me is saying that Nightfall won't end up killing his next target. And he's been willing to act for the sake of the town.

Zindaras is just jumping to opportunistic arguments and pushes them too far. I"m not liking it right now.

Well the rolename cop is testable, but then again, it sounds more made-up and a bit useless. Sounds made-up because most claims so far did not reference a specific pop-culture reference.

As for the pop-culture reference, 1337 does refer to the "culture"...

But no one else's claim so far has referenced a specific book or film or event (which I would've valued more).

I suppose there was a flavor explanation why 1337/7331 were masons, but I'm leery of the claim.

I find the role to be probably and possible - and could've been really helpful if you had investigated Nightfall in advance, but now that Nightfall claimed, I'm not sure how much more value you have. In other words, I don't think that a role-name cop is going to be something worth defending.

And combined with your behavior as of late, I wouldn't mind seeing you lynched. But I think we still need to evaluate any ties Boo may have had (I haven't looked back yet) before we make a move today.

That's the way I use Cop roles. I investigate not top targets, but people I have minor pings regarding. I wasn't sure about Adele, so I investigated her.
