Got a monitor which can go that fast? I get about 150 fps in my new home, most monitors cap at or before 120.

I only ask because I have a screenshot of me on the vanilla server with max settings and no optifine of about 380FPS. If I got optifine and adjusted settings for FPS I could probably give you a run for your money

Vanilla SSP Without Optifine: Lowest FPS i caught: 200 Average FPS: 400 Highest FPS: 850
Vanilla SSP With Optifine: Lowest FPS: 400 Average FPS: 600 Highest FPS: 850
FTB SMP Without Optifine: Lowest FPS (when not affected by SERVER lag, purely client-side affecting it): 20 Average FPS: 60 High FPS: (without mystcraft voidage) 200 (with mystcraft voidage) ~400

these are with graphics fast, render far, smooth lighting usually off, and performance set to to FPS

I'd whitelist you, but the vanilla server's address seems to have changed again. >_>

And Klaz, an HVSA costs 10532 (164 stacks +36) UUM. So it's expensive, but not THAT expensive.

That's because you probably auto-updated to the newly-released 1.5.1 (or 1.5.2)

you'll need to downgrade to 1.4.7 to play on the server - psure we've been waiting for Bukkit (the server-running plugin software thingy) to update to 1.5.1 before we do

Okay, I can connect to the vanilla server, but for obvious reason (white list) I can't get onto the the modded server. Thanks for your help!

interesting thing about this is that I have an old computer that runs minecraft at 1fps. It works well to serve lan games though
