Yes shea. Damn. I just revealed my assassination plot.

Watch people twist the following:

If I were scum, I'd probably kill you.

FWIW, if I were scum, I'd probably kill Shea too. When you say "I have information, though it's not the slam dunk I thought it was" and then later on downplay your importance (which really boils down to WIFOM anyway), you're putting a target on your own back. If you've actually got info, it's best that you share that info now. Without a Doc, Scum will kill *any* role that could potentially out them and/or confirm innocents.

Fine. I am a potentiometor. I tell what "position" an item is in. That means I can tell if people made a night choice last night.

Nonny made no choice n1 and n2. The person I targeted made a night choice last night, and I have forgotten who they were, due to the crash. I have PMed coron to rectify that situation.

WTF? Why would Nonny have not made choices with an information role?

Huh? PJ, the Masonizer, replaced Nonny. According to TSQ's info, Nonny chose not to masonize anybody on N1 or N2.

It's completely unprovable, but PJ actually made Ibby and I masons last night. I got a message at day's start basically saying that Ibby and I would have been masons had she not died. Unfortunately, neither Ibby nor PJ can confirm that, and PJ can't give us any more info on how his role works. What it *does* say, however, is that I find TSQ's info accurate. I think he's probably legit.

Wait. Wouldn't you only know about your own masonizing? Which would have been last night. Shea didn't investigate nonny last night.

So it would be possible for Nonny to have masonized two different people on N2 without including you (N1 was a cop head start, correct?).

I think Shea is legit, but it's not a slam dunk.

Did Maz replace anyone?

I considered the cop headstart to be N0. All I know is that last night, PJ masonized Ibby and myself. But Ibby and PJ are both dead. There's some minor indication of that when PJ said the following in his last (living) post:
PJ wrote:@Glork and Ibby: *huggles*
...but there's nothing concrete. Alls I'm saying is that, based on my info, I find it reasonable to conclude that TSQ is telling the truth.

But there's absolutely nothing there that ties you with Shea because Shea didn't investigate PJ last night (I'm assuming). I don't see how PJ's choice has anything to do with nonny's lack of choice.

Sure, I'm being a nitpicky little bitch, especially since I'm not doubting Shea at this time, but I fail to see how you can use that to support him.

I can confirm that the "Nonny didn't make a choice earlier" claim is true. It's not much, but it's something. And for the time being, it's enough for me to go on.

Hmm. It appears I'm confused about PJ's role.

Was he only able to connect two people once?

Or could he keep connecting different pairs of people?

If the latter, there's no obligation to make multiple connections to one person.

It seems to me that he could only use the ability once. He would choose two people who would, starting the following night, be able to communicate with each other at night.

Mastermind of Sin wrote:I'd like to try something I haven't done before, but have liked to do. I want everyone to go through the list of players, and ask themselves, "If this person were mafia, who would their partner be?" We can assume at this point that we have a standard 3-person mafia, unless someone has evidence to the contrary. What I want is for everyone to go through and assume each person on the list, including themselves, are scum in turn, and list 1-2 people that they believe would be the likely partners to those scum. At this point we need to be looking ahead and capturing the connections as to who the possible pair could be, because even if we catch one of the scum today, we could still be at a loss as to the other scumpartner. I'd like to get everyone's thoughts on this now as opposed to later, in case we mislynch today and lose the opinion of another protown player. Feel free to post an argument as to why you think they are the partners, though I suppose if you're lazy you don't have to. Personally, I doubt I will be able to get to this until next week, since i have a quiz tomorrow and a test friday, and I'll be gone all weekend. However, I will try my best to get a reread done.

MoS: That kind of analysis is going to have to wait 8-10 days; between term papers and final exams, I'm not going to have the time to do any thorough re-reads like your request requires.

TSQ counts as checked in.
