No, it is not something that I can just restart because they take forever to grow and etc.
Then someone greifed the side of my basement taking out dirt blocks this happened three days ago?
Yeah uhh we really need some greifprotection.
Hey Blake, the plants was actually me. I destroyed some weeds that I saw when I passed by your crops. That weed would spread and destroy the rest of the crops that remained.
Do not leave empty crops sticks unattended (be it crossover or normal sticks). Weed WILL grow there and destroy your crops.
Do not even leave regular crops unattended for long - sometimes weed will grown on existing crops (specially with crops with low resistance). If you are going to log off near spawn, I suggest picking up all your crops before leaving. Or plant your crops in some area you know will be unloaded when you leave the server.
Cheers!
As for dirt blocks, are you sure it was not endermen? You live near spawn, so your base is loaded all the time.

browse the mods section of minecraftforums.net and tell me what you find.

60% sure this is currently happening.
This is no longer true
Thanks to installing bukkit on the modded server, we no longer can save backups automatically of any of the worlds except the Overworld. until i instal a backup plugin. i'll do that soon.
And Maru, if you are deleting files, shouldn't they go to the recycle bin on your computer? Or do they fall into an unreadable void of Multicraft?

^^ and i don't run the server on my computer, i run them on a remote server that i use FIle Transfer Protocol to access, any action done with FTP is permanent, meaning deletion.
scratch that, blake trying to please you and instal bukkit, it might have just erased every non-overworld world we have.
Now do you see why i told you i dislike using wonky mods/software?
anyways, once i can figure this mess out, we most definitely will not have bukkit. but i think i have backups of all of our ages, you might have lost the last 14 hours or so of work however
conclusions from the past hour and a half:
No bukkit.
No bukkit ever.
NEVER any bukkit.
You all lost the last ~12-14 hours of work depending on how multicraft's timezone is configured.
fuck bukkit
bukkit fucked with world folders and whatnot to the point the easiest solution was to delete everything world related and just extract the most recent backup entirely.
an old family friend of mine that my brother is going to college with might want whitelisting on the vanilla server. i'm determining if he wants vanilla or modded atm, if so is it ok for me to whitelist him through the console, or do you guys want to? (@M/izak)
EDIT: FUCK YOU MARU, THAT WAS WAY MORE THAN 12 HOURS. MY ENTIRE AGE IS EMPTY AGAIN. STOP FUCKING WITH BUKKIT AND THE AGE BACK-UPS, PLEASE AND THANK YOU AND DONE. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.
Things I have to rebuild:
* my entire RedPower Solar Array
* my entire RedPower sorting facility
* my entire HOUSE
* my semi-automated IC2 Machine Lab
* my automated IC2/Thermal Exp. Scrap/UUM Factory
and if you think that's not enough to warrant me yelling at you, fuck off. Seriously. You shouldn't just DO SHIT that deletes entire worlds, and if there's EVEN A CHANCE that it could, and you simply HAVE to do it (which you didn't) then you should back them up RIGHT BEFORE you fuck with everything. Maybe make this a policy in the future? Especially when SOME people are trying to reset from the last time one of us fucked everything up.
