okay well to be fair I am sometimes WRONG.

but buldey's sig...I had a player as scum and I was up against 4 to 5 players townread on her.

caught her out in her second post but tbf this is a really strong player that I can determine between her vt, special, indie and scum game. she can do it with a lot of other players it is what makes her awesome. my "official" mentor is just as good and taught raven what she knows.

Okay I just re-read a little bit, and I'm bored with what's going on right now so... more setup speculation.

Assuming IAI is legit:

Cop + 3 masons + Innocent child = 4 immediately confirmed/able town, plus a guy who can confirm even more townies. This makes me think there's gotta be at least

some

investigation manipulation on the scum's part, whether that's a Godfather or a Framer or what have you.

Or else IAI is lying, which I don't really feel like is the case, given how he's acted since. Still, claiming an investigation result on a dead guy was pretty bad.

I agree with whoever said that the IAI dilemma is a problem that will take care of itself, either via nightkill or via slip up during the day of not wanting to confirm too many townies because he'd have to actually confirm townies instead of try to give fake results. And then if he's still alive 2 days from now, well...

He's a claimed cop, with a N1 town investigation on pirate mollie, and a N2 result on Nacho. But since the only result we've gotten since after claim is on a guy who's dead, that seems rather convenient if he's fakeclaiming. But mollie was a great N1 target all things considered and I don't think Nacho was a bad one either. Nacho being the kill was more or less unforeseeable from my viewpoint. One would have expected scum to kill IAI, a claimed cop, over Nacho, a rather scummy player.

Anyway, it is the dilemma of a claimed cop. But add to it that he only claimed after he was beginning to be run up, and he was only beginning to be run up due to a Gunsmith fakeclaim from MattP which stated that IAI had a gun. Which, unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your POV), fits right in with the cop claim, so it could have just been a fakeclaim that he pulled out of his ass. Also, since mollie wasn't liking Matt at that point, he could have easily picked her as a fake past investigation result, gambling that she was town based on only one NK from N1, and knowing that if so, she'd buy his claim, and try to kill off MattP for him.

So that's pretty much it I think. If I missed something, somebody else fill in the dirty details.
