Not a fan at all of nostredeus' vote on Sotty. Didn't like kuribo's vote on Sotty either but he removed it so that's all good, but nostredeus' vote was awful on all kinds of levels. Nost. I'd like you to explain what you think Sotty!scum has to gain by spending day one hard defending Jason only to turn around and push him today. How was their interaction forced?

Well sure no one does 100% selective scumhunting but your posts are rubbing me more fierce when you said camn was sk than when you were "scumhunting" for the mafia, which came off as a very lazy attempt at looking like you have suspects.

@Jason: From memory there seem to be a few people with SAD as a scumread, so I'm not sure why you dismiss him as not able to be lynched today.

I was interested in seeing how he would react to it. (I think it's an awkward question for scum to respond to). I was considering claiming, but I was probably not likely to actually end up doing it without more of a townread on his slot. Sure, I would have felt pretty crappy going all "Well I'm not going to! Sucks to be you!" but I thought the possible (albeit small) benefits outweighed the consequences. (And I would've been a lot nicer about it too)

To the second, I do get pretty frustrated by people thinking I'm scum when I'm town (and honestly when I'm scum too), and I was a bit mean I guess in a way calling him out on not wanting to know my role when he had a good reason not to want to know it.

Why did you ask those questions in here instead of the QT? (Especially considering the nature of the first one)

TML, you're both saying that SAD is town because scum knew there was a traitor and that Sotty could be scum because scum didn't know there was a traitor.

I'm sorry about not getting to this sooner, but some days I'll be gone from 6-7am to 6-7pm my time with Uni on again (and I don't always get time to post in the mornings either) so sometimes I won't be able to respond for a while.

But ... camn didn't "spend all day" trying to get absta lynched. At all . She only made a big push for an absta lynch in 947, by which point an absta lynch was looking unlikely because the deadline was approaching and TGAH was already at L-1. Previously she'd expressed some mild suspicion of absta, but really no more than anybody else had. And why would a hypothetical SK want to actually kill the people they "suspected"?

And, again ... multiple people had absta as a serious suspect at the end of day 1. He wasn't quite as popular a suspect as TGAH/McStab/Dan, but it was pretty close. There was a very good chance he'd have been lynched today. He would have been a terrible kill choice for a hypothetical SK, and a very sensible choice for a town-aligned vig.

I'm leaning towards thinking that the Police were aware who the traitor was rather than the other way around because Absta had almost nothing to say about TGAH, and kind of think that if he didn't know that he was a (potential) buddy that he'd have been more inclined to attack him.

If you think TGAH didn't know who the Police were, what do you read into his push on Jason?
