Ever since people (especially scum) love bandwagoning right into a quick lynch. Lynch-2 is quite close to death.Primate wrote:Naw. If the mason gets wagonned they're gonna claim anyway. We shouldn't force them to claim early. Besides, this way there's a chance they'll survive until tomorrow, and they're much more useful then.
Okay, I was just throwing out the idea (I like throwing out ideas).
Agreed. I want more than that before hopping on that wagon. If we rush into a lynch and Nightfall comes up town, Maz Medias can say that, well, he wasn't completely sure anyway.neongrey wrote:Hm, I'd still like a little more than the 'I have reason to believe'.

I was going to say something when Mert died but I wasn't sure I should until you posted.Maz Medias wrote:I have reason to believe that Nightfall is scum, or at very very least non-town.
I am pro town, but I am pretty sure that I am responsible for Mert's death.
I'll do a full claim if you wish, but the 1 thing I want to make clear is that if I am truely responsible for Merts death, I didn't "purposely" kill him.Once Nightfall comes, everyone's dead...-

I am personally of the opinion that Nightfall should probably claim, but I'd say that Maz Medias should decide, because, after all, he's the one with the information.ShowFinished: 159 (120 Town, 33 Mafia, 5 Other, 1 Cult, 4 Cultivated)

I've posted this in every game I'm in:
Sorry, I've completely lost touch of what's going on in all my games with all the trouble we've been having. I've set some time aside tomorrow to refresh my memory on everything and begin posting properly again. My apologies for the delay."Awesome Proton Pack, Flay!" - Petroleumjelly

It's also extremely detrimental to the town as it wastes a lynch (I've never seen a speedlynch on scum, barring investigations and such).BrizzyBoi wrote:And isn't that benificial to the town as it -

I don't trust Nightfall's claim at all. All the Townies we've seen so far are actual numbers.ShowFinished: 159 (120 Town, 33 Mafia, 5 Other, 1 Cult, 4 Cultivated)

Meh, speedlynches happen if the mafia have daytalk.
@Maz: Does that fit?
@Brizzy: Are you saying you were acting scummy in order to give the town more information? Sorry for being skeptical as to the goodness of that plan. You do see that reasonless wagonning you were doing acts against your second point, as the person being wagonned has nothing to defend themselves against, and nothing to do to get you off their wagon bar claiming.
Brizzy, could you direct me to a couple of games you played in the past that you're happy with?-

No it is not a forced action.
I had strongly considered not using it because I thought it could be a kill power, but I also thought that it could be a doc/backup doc power that would rely on the player being brave enough to use it. In the end I thought it would be best for me to test it, at leasst once to find out. Then if it was a kill power, it would be best to test it out now before it could really influence things.
One thing that bothers me though is that, if I was to use my night action tonight too, there is nothing in my role description to imply one way or the other whether the abillity would stay the same or not.
My very first thought was that I would use the abillity of the person that I targeted, on the person I targeted. That was proven wrong though when Mert was revealed town. So I obviously didnt get the kill power from him.
Why Mert = Shortly before this game, we were both in the game Doomsville, we were a little snippy in it, but it was the most immediate link I had with a player. I thought if worse came to worse and anyone was going to die from what I did, then it would be a reason that would make the most sense for my choice since I would likely end up having to explain it.Once Nightfall comes, everyone's dead...-

Also, I know you have no reason to believe me here but I thought I should mention it to show how devided I was over using my night action. If you remember the crash (that wiped stuff out) came during our night phase. It was after I sent my night action. I thought that since the crash deleted posts it may have deleted pms to. I was considering sending a pm to withdraw my night action, but instead confirmed it because I thought it would be unfair to go back on it since I already sent it. That and the "test" reasons mentioned in my last post.Once Nightfall comes, everyone's dead...-

Quite happy with the Dr. Who game I played. Am quite content with the way I am conducting myself in POTUS and in the newbie I just died in (283). Can't think of any more right now.Primate wrote:Brizzy, could you direct me to a couple of games you played in the past that you're happy with?"Don't get the impression that you arouse my anger. Hm. Interesting. I suppose it makes sense, though I'm not sure if I like it. Will wait for word from Maz before coming to any majour conclusions about Nightfall.
Am not big into the seemingly deliberate scum-like acting from Brizzy, though I think I need a more thorough reread of him for that.ne*on*grey n.

2. frequently misspelled online alias; only capitalized at the beginning of a sentence with no internal capitalizations and has absolutely no As anywhere in it.
3. definitely a female-

Hhmmmn. I'm just not quite sure what to think. His nameclaim matches up with my info, but it's wierd that he gave a full claim when I asked for - and really would've prefered - only a name claim. The point that all townies thus far have been simple numbers is important, but it may be too early to make that determination.
So, I think Nightfall would be a good lynch today, but it's worth discussing others.Unvote-
