Not quite as true. I wanted to see if an early lynch candidate could be pushed to the end of the line. Since I think the way in which the MBL lynch has now collapsed, I'm much more inclined to vote for him at the moment over bird.

You listed him as a suspect and bird had the most votes on him as we were nearing an all-or-nothing deadline rule. No other candidates were close, if I remember correctly.

Even better, a cop might have thought to investigate bird, and that would have been a wasted investigation if the Town were going to try and lynch bird again. It may have even exposed the cop if he couldn't keep his results to himself.

That's a little dumb. I also said that I would hammer if necessary come near-deadline, and I think Zindaras made a similar comment when he moved to Bird. You're trying to blame the possibility of a cop exposing himself over a person we were going to lynch the next day anyway on him? The hammer was going to happen. You can say that this is not known at the time, but there was no evidence supporting bird, and if some evidence did turn up, many people would unvote, and you wouldn't be able to blame pj for our having the opportunity to not lynch him. That means that any decent innocent

hammer because it had already been reiterated that no lynch is worse than lynch a scummy person who's not been posting.

If a cop had decided to investigate bird, he might have decided to reveal his results the next day... I don't agree with this in entirety. There aren't many cops who won't keep their results to themselves unless they are in a good position to reveal. You're assuming that the cop could be dumb enough to investigate someone we were trying to lynch but failed due to deadline, and then even reveal results the next day, which he wouldn't have got the opportunity to do, most likely, as bird would've been wagoned again.

Flavor? Meh. Roleblocking in this game is through sabotage. Mechanics repair stuff. Sabotage + Repair = Unroleblocked

I know the odds of targeting the same person as a roleblocker aren't all that likely, but I've never played with a role quite like this, so having nothing solid to compare against I just took the course of action least likely to do the most damage, being no choice on Night 1. I kind of wisened up to my role though on Night 2, and rolled randomly among the people I was not actively suspecting.

I would say it was mostly my unfamiliarity with the consequences of using my power along with my paranoia of possibly unblocking a killer prompted me to not do anything on Night 1. As I mentioned, I think I know now how I can handle my role to use it for the best.

I'm not sure how you can expect me to be 100% certain, as I am not the mod, but I'm pretty sure it would be "Space Monkey Mechanic." I used "unroleblocker" as a paraphrase.

As to the determination of my role, I don't know how the mod would handle letting you guys know an odd role's power, and I'd say that should be quite obvious. I have seen it done in the past in which a not-so-familiar role is given a subtitle in the opening post, write up, etc. I've also seen where the whole role is posted. And then there's the classic tinge of devious modding where nothing more is listed, and you just have to guess. Different strokes for different folks.
