Then the host deleted both the world and the auto backups I paid them for when I missed a bill that shoulda been transacted through autopay, then again when I ditched that host for good. I cant remember if I gave the server to Claus in April or May, but I thought it was May.
You actually gave it to MME. Or better yet, MME had a personal server on DaddyCheese and we all kinda moved there.
@Eek, Scot's Art Gallery was the world before the one that got griefed, but it was during my tenure (I still think the griefing was hilarious, tragic though it was. Some guys thought they were griefing someone elses server entirely)

I dont LoL, but I also havent really been into minecraft since....a really long while. Heck, my recent foray into FTB was the first time I had seen an Enderman
AlyG: If he's not a joke account then what is he? He starts bandwagons on himself and insults other people.

I just realized that he came back after 2 years earlier this month. Seems to be keeping to just mafia games though. Shrug.

Just curious.
I half watch sevadus play minecraft on twitch sometimes, other than that I'm pretty done with it.

Second MS Minecraft World (Art Gallery, etc) -- 1.2 up to 1.4 -- 13/feb/11 to 3/apr/11 -- (??? I thought it started earlier)
Third MS Minecraft World (MSTA!) -- 1.4 to 1.9 -- 4/apr/11 to 19/nov/11
Fourth MS Minecraft World (Spawntown!) - Release 1.0 onwards -- 19/nov/11 to current
Didn't realize we've had the current world for so long (or the initial world for so little)
I miss the 3rd age
But I'm getting more back into minecraft lately and I've been spending some time on the nilla server exploring for a new land to declare myself governor of. I started exploring SW of skytown - found a promising little state with rivers to the north and south, swamp to the west, and desert to the east ending at what ended up being a large lake. In it was a poor little town in disarray as it is being flooded by glacial runoff, and just to the south of the town lies some desert ruins worthy of preservation as a historical site. But I may end up looping around to the SE of spawntown across the ocean, because there's a large black area S of the Jungle temple begging to be explored.
I hope to find a nice area with ocean access for transportation to/from spawntown, skytown, mushroom house, and the jungle temple. I'm planning on starting an ambitious city project. I have some vague ideas in mind so hopefully I can put it all together. Eventually I'll ask for community involvement but I'll still play the role of governor/city planner/zoning director/etc. So like maybe mini community building competitions centered around a theme within a set of rules kinda deal. Also part of my city will be my 3D maze I've been promising for months. The idea has been revamped from what I originally had in mind so it will end up being bigger and thus harder than initially planned.
1) is there any way to make it possible to zoom farther out on the dynamic map? I know it used to zoom to the entire explored world on launch and it doesn't do that anymore. I can't find anything further away than about 5000 blocks from spawn because I don't know which direction to search for it.
2) who built the small hut built out of iron blocks with random rails and stuff inside. I happened across it while exploring and was wondering who it belonged to, if anyone. Seems like a pretty big waste of resources just sitting there

maybe if I increased the resolution, unfortunately I'm not 100% sure what our server looks like for storage=space wise, to know if we have the room for it.

1- The thing is that the world just got bigger A while ago 5000 blocks was enough to see the entire world. That said, while people like big numbers, there are a lot of perfectly unexplored areas within a 3000 block radius of spawn (We found an untouched village 3000 from spawn).
2- Hut with random rails???????? That is a legitimate Small Scout UFO
