Well the problem probably is we got so many chunks loaded at once. The Quarry loads all the chunks it's using, and now so does the World Anchor. Plus the Portal Guns load all chunks they are in twice...plus all the entities we've got running in the spawner and the quarry. We've got a lot going on at once.

Well, I destroyed the world anchor.

There are only entities loaded for the Quarries briefly, while in the pipes between the Quarry block and the chests they hopefully deposit the items into. The chunks are what're probably causing problems. Please do not use the RailCraft "World Anchors" to load chunks - use the ChickenCore "Chunk Loaders" to do it. They're significantly expensive that it should keep the use down to necessary things, and they are better chunk loaders in every way.

Not to mention that they look cooler, don't require Ender Pearls to power them, and can be adjusted to load different sized chunk chunks. (My maximum is ~30 per Chunk Loader per person/group it benefits.)

I guess the intent was to keep the Mass Fabricator running when we were offline...which with our set-up is a massive process as it is.

I'm in favour of outlawing world anchors in favour of chunk loaders.

Also tier-5 blaze cage IS going to cause lag no matter what because there's no fast way of killing them. Something affected by fall damage would be nowhere near as laggy, and would almost certainly work faster too.

Can someone add me to the vanilla server please? Minecraft username is highly_poofable.

You can find free building space just by going a thousand blocks in any direction, but if you want fresh, unspoiled land SW or NW is probably your best choice. SW is less explored but is mostly ocean, NW is much more explored but there's plenty of land and not much of it is built on.

klaz's way did what i thought it would do, deleted anything aura related in the game, and didnt try to make new ones.

Fuzz, can you log on, make sure mob farm is off, and that there are no blaze rods in circulation, and destroy both world anchors? (one at the farm, one at the machine craft floor) Also, move far enough away to despawn the blazes?
