I was thinking Curse of Stalked Prey for a Gruul deck
idea is:
Skaarg Guild leaders give boardwide trample+Curse of stalked prey=snowballthreat fast. Pit fight rapes flyers and Skullcrack laughs at druid's deliverance and shit like that
its not AS fast or aggro as Rakdos, but it provides more stability against bullshit wipes with hexproof (GAMMA GIVE ME YOUR RANGER GUILE)
Also Nightshade Peddler+Ash Zealot=for teh cheap deathtouchfirsttrike LULZ?
NO ONE STEAL MY IDEAZ
its k cause no one will play gruul except me and gamma
Buttons is right here. Curse of Stalked Prey is a very bad card. It only does anything when you are already ahead on the board, has no synergy with other copies of itself, does nothing on its own. And for those disadvantages, it doesn't contribute to your ability to kill your opponent the turn it comes down or significantly increase the difficulty of answering the threats you do have on the board.
once GTC is fully spoiled, I'd like to do another league to get people used to the new limited format, but I'd like to participate in this one. I can run it/generate sealed pools, if I need to, but people would have to realize that I would generate my own too and just trust the honor system to work

Hit me up on AIM later, we'll talk.

Yes
cunts.
it would be more interesting to draft with people who haven't researched combos/relative card strength leading up to the event. i feel like you could only ever get that draft environment at the beginning of major releases.

jdodge1019: vermont is made of liberal freaks and cows
jdodge1019: he's not a liberal

I just build Pauper 8Post. Does that make me a bad person?
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.
Card sets have been spoiled before pre-releases since i've been playing magic. and yeah, there basically aren't even combo's in constructed anymore, let alone limited.
Also also, I find that magic is best when everyone knows what they're doing. If I'm playing for fun (aka not at a big important tourney which I will lose anyway) I want to play against the best players I can find, knowing the most about the format, with the best decks that are performing optimally. Then its a skill game. And that's why its fun.

Still want to know what sTuffy doll its all about
If Reck actually has a stuffy doll list, it probably involves Blasphemous Act. But I mean I'm pretty sure no even close to tier 1 stuffy doll deck exists.
To each his own Shea.but that can get too expensive
I have the most fun in magic playing a deck I created with a theme that I enjoy and making it viable. Spending hundreds to makes a."strong" deck isn't for me, if I wanted to play a skill based game Dominion would be the way to go.
For instance, Nuwen and.I took.our scrub decks against some hardcore magic nerds for two headed giant with turn 3 annihilator 4 artifacts and shit and would.have won except for a misplay in what we sacrificed (t hey were at two hp) and THAT was fun

Those guys were giving me shit because I didn't know that overloading a mizzium mortars kills your two-headed partner's creatures (only your own survive).
NO TAKSIE BACKSIES YOU PLAYED IT

Fate, you can build competitive decks, be a good player, and have good knowledge about the cards and the format without dropping tons of money. It's actually not even that hard. The deck building part is the hardest, but it can be done. But you certainly don't need to be a millionaire to a) know the rules and b) know the cards and c) know the intersection of those two areas.
Think of it this way: Would you rather play lol with/against a team that had no idea what all the various characters are and what their abilities were, and had no idea what the general strategies are that make up the back bone of that game? (would you want to play against me, essentially) I'm guessing the answer is probably no, but you could surprise me by saying yes.
Lol is the example I was going to use FOR.a game I already play that satisfies that need, but since its not turned based, I went for dominion instead.
And I have the wrong imPression its not the money that bothers me, its more the lack of creativity. If there's only so many meta approved cards you can play, thats no fun to me.
I want to play MY deck with cards that fit my theme and playstyle, not a meta approved deck you ll see every tournament.
I rather beat someone better than me because my deck surprised them beat someone better because my deck r was better
