You may want to keep them in a chest if you intend to use them for anything other than decoration. We can track chests, but not regular blocks.

i think he installed coreprotect which can track blocks, idk if its configured properly yet to do so, but i know it has the ability.

Yup, you should be able to track blocks the same way that you track chests. For easiest results, just put any block in place of the missing block and inspect it.

I'd like to announce the opening of the Gauntlet of the Withers on Maestro's server, built by Maestro and I. This gauntlet is epic and even involves a spectator section so that you can either run the gauntlet or watch others die horribly.
