WTH is that Senjai? I didn't back of you just because you called me town. In fact I did nothing you expected me to do. Actually, a gambit like that does make me think you are more town-looking in my book, so there's that. It's not, however, a good gambit.

What in the world consitutes as a "good gambit"? No gambit is good. At least no original and new gambit. Maybe some of the old stuff, like faking Day Vig, but that's about it.

This sells me on Jacob being scum. If you take the time to do an opinion post with reads,

Anyone who complains that I'm just repeating what others are saying, I'm not. These are my exact thoughts on anything significant to have a thought on, others just happened to agree and put it down first.


TL;DR? Jacob and Nero are scum, but I'm pretty sure everyone already knows that. C+B are probably also scum.

I don't think we should jump the wagon. Demon Core Untrod and Anxiety would have to persuade me. Piggy has a collection of the most infrequent and IIOA posters in the game. If she flips town, likely two of them at least are scum. (as the wagon sits now)

JS has scumslipped enough. Though I'd say piggy is slightly buddying me (copying a lot of my reads instead of simply just saying she agrees with me) a JS lynch would tell us LOADS more than a piggy lynch. As town that's what we need. Lynching JS would tell us the following:

If Scum: Nero is also likely scum.
If Town: Nero is much more easily exonerated.

If we lynch piggy we dont find out anything. Except that some of the people on her wagon are scum if shes town (but we dont know who) and if she's scum she hasnt really hinted at who might be her scumbuddies (except perhaps me via buddying)

A townpiggy lynch would also raise suspicion on the more ominous posters like Adorkable, Anx, C+b (though theamateur is fairly ominous too. (if JS is town I'd move against him or piggy next)

To sway my vote, I'd like to see someone prepare a detailed contrast (as if piggy and JS were the only two possible choices) showing how piggy is more scummy than JS. If someone is able to do that I'll switch my vote.

Hi RC. As senjai, I'm expecting good reasons for moving my vote to piggy. But, for what I've seen so far, I'd be happy to put my vote on her.

Neither of those are actual points.

Also, we find out a lot about C+B.

Let's just say for a second you are 100% correct. Lynching JS lets us know about Nero.
However, by that same logic, lynching piggy lets us know about C+B, but also (to a lesser extent) JS.

So who would you rather have lynch info on? A player who posts a lot (so you already have a lot of information) or a person who posts little (so you have little information. For exactly the reasons you listed, I am considering switching. This is why on early nights I always direct cop investigations toward the players who I know the least about, instead of at the most likely scum.

Now, I won't be able to give a detailed contrast because JS hasn't said anything remotely towny. But neither has Piggy.
