Yeah, and yet the thread still seems to be flying. Kinda ideal conditions for lurkers. After thinking about it, I think I'm happy with my vote where it is, especially in light of the fact that they seem to have stopped posting, but I am feeling decidedly scummy vibes from Eon ("If I turn up town you'll be sorry.") and re2,(who appears to just be posting random inanities.) that I'm happy with my earlier FOS as well. Perhaps someone could explain to me the other wagon, because I don't think I'm getting it.

Then you act interesting, you tell you dont like wagon on me and fan but then you dont say anything that could make people find another suspect. Plus i cant say you are active like most of players here, for example in 4 pages you did some [4,5 or 6]mini posts and all of them mentioned me. Im kinda interested in your oppinion.

You know, Eons 'question' is very interesting considering spectrum voids vote.

Re2fan. Thank you very much for using quotes. It really distracting when you dont.

In response. Yes, I despise Eon, yes I like getting him lynched, but that metagaming does not affect how I play. If I think eon is scum, I will vote for him. If I think he is not (see day one, when I said I didn;t understand your wagon.) I will not.

All you're posting is Eons scramblings after the slip. The way he keeps changing what he's saying, and riding the coat tails of others makes him seem more scummy to me, not less, and you using personal instults and OMGUS attacks such as
Backoff bitches, Targettin a person like that is jsut stupid
Are not helping your case, especially when

a) His slip up is a perfectly reasonable reason to vote him.
b) you have given zero affective defense to it thusfar.

At Eon
Eon wrote: Reason eh, HELLO but i told that to explain 2 deaths. And im voted because i told truth? Thats crap TSQ.
And unlike you fan and i did more posts here, because we are trying to find any of those killer sides. I hope someone will look at your posts HERE and say how helpful they were.

Must say already you didnt talk so much like in that last game we were in, maybe in this game you have something to hide? [metagaming TSQ style]
Uh. Yeah clearly have no idea what metagaming is...

1)You trying to explain two deaths is scummy. In my opinion, the only person who gains anything about speculating about roles is scum, you speculated about roles, therefore you are scum in my eyes.

2)Uh...I have posted tons of helpful things. Why are you OMGUS attacking me here? This strategy is not going to do much to stop people from voting you.

3)No. You said "Mafia and sk" not anything else. Anything else was said later when you were back peddling and taking the easy way out given to you by other players. I find that more scummy, not less.

4) Why are you attacking me? I am not the only one voting for you. Nor am I the only one focusing on your particular misstep. I find it interesting that you cue on me. I wonder if it's because you think that you can get people to sympacize with you because I dont like you...

5) Thats not true. I play the same every game I'm in with you.

6) You are very adept at picking out one word in a post, focusing on it, and then using it in an attempt to discredit the entire post. This time, it's metagaming. Last time, it was quick lynch. I am only metagaming in so far as I don't like you, so I'd be happy to see you go. BUT and I already said this, finding scum supercedes that fact, so your point is moot, because if you were scummy I'd vote for you, and if you weren't I wouldn't regardless. This vote only has to do with metagaming only insofar as it makes me happy.

7)
You are METAGAMING, [remainder of this quoted paragraph deleted pending further review ~Courk]
[Comment deleted pending further review ~Courk]

At Re2fan:
umm I was clearing up the fact that he wasn't slipping up... I needed to do that because you failed to understand his post properly. You are just saying all these things from an assumption you made because you read one sentence in a post Eon made, without reading the other ones..

If that's how you catch out scum.. you're not a very good asset to the town.
1) Actually, I have read every post both of you made.

2) The point is he did slip up. He said "mafia and sk." and even if he went back and said he meant something different later, that does not change what he originally said.

3) As I have already said, the fact that he is now backtracking, and riding another persons less scummy interpretation of his words makes him seem more scummy in my eyes, not less.

4) This game is played on assumptions, sir. That is how you find scum. If you wait to have a cop investigation every time you play mafia to lynch, you will lose a lot of times, but that's the only way you can play mafia without assumptions. And well, if that's how YOU play, I too doubt YOUR ability to help the town. Course, I think you're a SK, so I don't think you want to help the town.

Yes this game involves assumptions, but it also involves common sense. I was pointing out how your assumption was wrong because it was based on one sentence and not on the point Eon was trying to make. I'm just suggesting ppl look at how Eon mentioned SK. He was thinking about how many mafia there are. He mentioned SK as an example out of the many possiblities such as vigilante etc.. The only mistake is his lack of information, and trusting his fellow town to see where he was coming from without having to be so clear and explicit. I think if he was scum he'd be alot more careful...
All I can say is that if you only look at what people say, and not what's underneath the words, you will not catch very many scum. I think his comment was more nefarious than you are making it out to be, but guess what, that's my perogative, just as it is yours to say I'm wrong. *shrug*

No, I am looking underneath his words, to the subconcious meaning of them in his mind. I'm sure he didn't MEAN to call himself the SK, but I think he made the post with the information in his mind without realizing that the information that theres a sk would not be known by townies as well. That is my thought process.

If I am wrong, then I am wrong. In a game of mafia you have to be willing to make mistakes, because like I said, barring a cop investigation, you can never be 100% sure. Therefore, whether you are scum or not will not change the way I play.

Theres nothing to comment on. It's just a voting history that you edited to make him look scummy, probably. I haven't gotten a chance to check back yet, but I'd be willing to bet that There was more reasoning than "Magically comprehending." I think I would have remembered such a huge about face like that.

As I expected, you edited which of his posts you used in order to make him look scummier.

Where to begin...Well, first, in between the time where he reads you as most likely noob town, and the time he votes you, theres this post:
Eon randomly posts stuff that makes him look absolutely scummy. Kinda like Stevie. Also I can't make head or head of his posts. *grin*
Admits he's confused about you, because of the nature of your posts.

You also fail to mention that he posts reasons as to voting you. Now granted, they aren't the best, but they're not terrible either at that stage of the game.
And here's exactly where I changed my mind. Before I thought he was just being newbie-ish, and was willing to consider that language problems might've led to some confusion about what he meant. BUT I don't like his responses to the accusations against him, and his defenses. And that's why I'm going to vote: Eon
He also posts more reasons later, here:
spectrumvoid wrote:
Eon wrote: 1: Can you tell us about your thoughts, you dont vote against me then
2: who do you suspect and why?
Then you act interesting, you tell you dont like wagon on me and fan but then you dont say anything that could make people find another suspect.
3: Plus i cant say you are active like most of players here, for example in 4 pages you did some [4,5 or 6]mini posts and all of them mentioned me. Im kinda interested in your oppinion.
numbers added by me so I won't miss out anything

Huh? I thought I did in my earlier post. I'll try again.

1:
First off, I didn't vote on you. Because I was doing a little meta-gaming. I thought you were just being your normal self (as in defensive, confusing, scummy-looking etc.) Yes, I did know that that didn't excuse you from being scum, but I thought that was your consistent playstyle. That's why I brought up people like chamber, who's playstyle is always scummy-looking, but is sometimes pro-town. That also explains why I didn't like the wagon on you.

2:
Who do I think is scummy now? You. Your recent posts and uneffective defences changed my mind. If you want, I can do a quote of them but I think you remember (since you are the one who posted them after all).

3:
As for activity, I'm in timezone GMT +8 which means I'm usually sleeping when everyone is posting, like my other head lordy (who has poofed.) I think I did mention here that I was rushing out a project, so my activity dropped. Check out any of my other games for proof. (except games where we were at lyol, or I was -1 lynch.) With my project over, I have been around. Also, I'd like to point out that there are other people with worse activity level than mine, who live in perfectly timezones.

Does that answer all the questions?

So, I am seeing this push from you as anti town, and possibly as distancing technique between Lord Void, and you. This post in particular makes me think that he's sure you'll come up scum, and that this will help him.
Another reason for lynching me/lordy is because lynching eon/re will cause the game to languish. I disagree. Whoever we lynch today, as long as we lynch, we'll get better info, and the game will pick up. For example, if we lynch e/r, I'm sure everyone will be looking at the people on the wagon like me. If we lynch sv/l, everyone will be looking at pab + TSQ.
So in conclusion, happy with my vote, but

FOS: Lord Void
as well.

As to the lynch count, I think I've already explained this: Yes, I like to see you die, but it does not interfear with me playing the game. I will still vote for who I think is scum. I think you are scum, and I think you should die.

I already told you that's not true about the lynch count.

What can you two do? You can defend yourselves for one thing. One thing you haven't done with insults an OMGUS still to this very post.

You can start analyzing the game for another. I haven't seen much out of that from either of you.

Courk asked me if fritz has shared anything with me. I assume this means that fritz/ibby did in fact recieve their cop investigation before they died, which would make him ineligable to play this game. He has not shared anything with me, however.

Okay. Sorry to say, I've not developed any major suspicions, although I've got a few theories. One of these is that Re2Eon blocked Pablito/STD night 1, and the "never liked docs" was a breadcrumb or something (what townie actually dislikes docs?) and tacit apology.
Chamber does. He thinks they encourage shitty play.

I think, at lynch -1, your ability to be defiantly outraged is sufficiently diminished to the point where a pretty blatant OMGUS attack seems fairly, well, for lack of a better word, stupid. I would have expected you to at least decline to claim in that post, but you didn't even mention it. I don't know exactly what that means, but I certainly noted it. Your reaction is a very interesting one.

Next time I hope to have a partner who a) Participates (ubertimmy) I think it would have been awesome to be able to discuss like PJ/Mbl did. 0r b) Doesn't have a target on his back (fritz)
