It is gloomy outside when you wake and head down to the company lunch room. A quick count of heads reveals that three more employees are missing. Nothing turns up to indicate disloyalty on two of them...but you find a bloody ACME Hunting Knife(TM) on the silent speaker.

Returning to the lunch room, you notice that the office of Jack Bennett has been opened...

There is a notice posted on the bulletin board in the lunch room. Again offices have been reassigned, this time moving mathcam into Jack Kay's office, and armlx into the office of Jack Quinn.

With nothing else of interest occurring, you settle down for a quick breakfast followed by your job of hunting down the remaining infiltrators.

From that list, please note that the two deceased were pro-town. This means one of two things about the remaining people:

A) They're town doing next-to-nothing during daytime to help find scum.
B) They're scum sitting back and not being hassled in the least while town picks itself apart.

Six out of the 15 remaining are megalurkers (not including me). It's surprising that scum would target lurkers like zuFaul, seeing as how lurkers are so easily attacked, they're not a threat, and killing an active poster would seemingly make more sense.

So perhaps zuFaul was killed for a reason related to the office he held.

I suggest we start today by dragging these lurkers into the sunlight, unless someone has investigative results they wish to share. If any of them are scum, we really haven't made their jobs difficult thus far.

It occurs to me that it might be valuable for MrBuddyLee to consider whether there is anything to be gained in letting everyone know what was in the office he formerly occupied, that tss died in. For a lot of things, it probably won't make a difference, but if it was, say, a roleblocking office, it might be worthwhile to know that the SK had that ability. Obviously, you're the only one who can make that call, MBL, but better to have thought about it and decided against than to have not thought about it at all.
