RVS stirs up discussion, which turns the game serious.

... your vote was serious? How does deciding to go along with the RVS and vote to actually do something count as 'trying hard to act town'?

It was serious, and it is the best place for my vote right now imo, "going along with the flow" seems like something a mafia would do well trying to appear townish, the flow bit not necessarily being the scummy part but more the point of you pointing it out in a way of "I'm not going against the flow of the town".

What kind of reasoning is this? Everyone did the RVS, why are you picking one person out?

a) to start a discussion
b) cause it actually seems like a legitimate scum thing to say to try and make themselves seem town.

@ JW
I realize that the Nox vote about the avatar-less VG is rather a bit nitpicky, and I definitely will watch Noctis to see if he jumps on board when we find scum, and watch to see that he starts actively hunting scum, but a serious vote on him for that seems just as nitpicky. Have you any other basis for your serious vote?

The very case you have him could be made about you.

@JasonWazza- Well, the part about going along with the flow was so people would know why I was voting when I said I didn't like voting without anything to back me up earlier. I guess looking back I can see how you might see it as scummy, but.... it's just something I do.

@Dephius- it's not the fact that I did the RVS that he's viewing as scummy, it's what I said before I posted; IE, that I'd go with the flow of it. This is supposedly scumlike in that it seems as if I'm trying too hard to be townlike.

Just like rachmarie said. Lynching inactives is not a wise one. Lynching inactives doesn't help us to catch scum because we won't even get a lot of info. aside from their flips.

BTW are you not satisfied with rachmaries response?

PS: please have an avatar already.

This is your one post with anything that isn't about the avatar's (even then you have a bit about the avatar.) and it's about lynching inactives which has pretty much nothing to do with the game (that is a play style choice and not an alignment tell.)

So again comment on something else.

Still waiting on Rach to actually read the thread and for anyone else to actually start talking.

I'll move my vote to Phoenix, just because I don't think he gave an adequate reason for why he said something that I'd agree was pretty much a scumtell.

I guess looking back I can see how you might see it as scummy, but.... it's just something I do.

"It's just something I do" is literally one of the worst justifications. It's not an actual reason, it's just a way of shutting down discussion about it.

This is supposedly scumlike in that it seems as if I'm trying too hard to be townlike.

Yes, it is. A townie wouldn't have said that, and would have just voted and not commented on the vote (that we all know is random).

I mean, I think there's a chance that you're just a townie with terrible choice of words. But we need a bandwagon to put pressure on someone if we're going to get out of RVS and get the game going, and you're the most likely based on what little information we have so far.

Vote Phoenix
