Well, I was thinking for the "pack ripping", I would just use a booster generator for the set and PM each participant with their pool of cards. People could mess around however they wanted, then we'd probably use Magic Workshop or something to make the decks and play each other?

People submit results to the thread. Depending on the number of players, we could say each person can play up to four matches each week (we'd also allow makeup matches in future weeks), and then each week they get to add a new booster pack to their pool.

Man, I just uninstalled MWS because I couldn't be arsed to fix it.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Working on upgrading my RDW deck based on RtR spoilers, I've got something good so far, I think:

4 Stromkirk Noble
4 Blistercoil Weird
4 Vexing Devil
3 Guttersnipe
2 Hellrider
2 Cryptborn Horror

4 Pillar of Flame
4 Searing Spear
3 Flames of the Firebrand
3 Brimstone Volley
2 Bonfire of the Damned
4 Mizzium Mortars

15 Mountain
4 Rootbound Crag
2 Kessig Wolf Run

Sieboard?: Nivmagus Elemental
Pithing Needle
Zealous Conscripts
Annihilating Fire

In total, to update this deck for RtR, I'd only be spending about $15-20 on all the new cards. I still need a second Bonfire, though, which is gonna be PRICEY.

Bonfire of the Damned isn't going to be very high impact in the new Standard, as midrange and efficiently costed rumps are going to rule the format. And the other aggro deck, Zombies, couldn't care less about a Bonfire. I think you're fine without another. Its purpose in your deck is a fireball effect, which I don't think would be that great considering you'll be looking to run not so many lands in a RDW style build.

I'm thinking:
4x Gravecrawler
4x Diregraf Ghoul
4x Rakdos Cackler
2x Rix Maadi Guildmage
4x Blood Artist
4x Geralf's Messenger
2x Rakdos, Lord of Riots
3x Falkenrath Aristocraft

2x Ultimate Price
4x Pillar of Flame
4x Brimstone Volley

23x Lands

I'm not sure how to cut the lands up for that. I want everything to generate B so that I can always drop my one-drops, and can drop Messenger on turn 3, but I think I'm going to need more than 8 red sources.

Here's another build I'm considering is:
4x Gravecrawler
4x Diregraf Ghoul
2x Slitherhead
4x Blood Artist
4x Lotleth Troll
4x Geralf's Messenger
3x Dreg Mangler

4x Abrupt Decay
4x Dreadbore
4x Brimstone Volley

7x Swamp
4x Woodland Cemetery
4x Overgrown Tomb
4x Dragonskull Summit
4x Blood Crypt

This one has a few more tricks, but is trickier manawise.

I'm going to be playing Geist of Saint Traft and Restoration Angel, but don't know what else. Those two are going to be a complete beating.

A 1-of Thunderous Wrath might not be so bad. 1 mana for 5 damage sounds pretty spicy.

I was mainly advising you against dropping money on a card that is likely NOT to retain too much value.

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/selesnya ... 0-09-12-2/

This is the deck I'm working on right now. I really love the interaction between Silverblade/Wolfir and the stuff I already have, and the ability to run answers and curve out heavily at 5 is nice. Armada Wurm is excellent as well in testing.

I'm also heavily considering a Bant Build that runs 4 Rancor, Ethereal Armor, and Spectral Flight with O-Rings as well. This is a test list: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/bant-enchant-aggro/

I'm probably going to make both, to be honest. The first is much more conventional, and I feel like it's a lot simpler, but the second looks like a ton of fun. (In the second list, Ancestral Mask is in place of Ethereal Armor until Tapped Out adds it to their database.

Yeah. Sealed is "You get six booster packs and unlimited land, make a deck."

Also, the deck I'm working on for now is:

BG Zombies
60 cards
3 Cavern of Souls
4 Overgrown Tomb
10 Swamp
4 Woodland Cemetery
21 lands

4 Diregraf Ghoul
4 Gravecrawler
4 Slitherhead
4 Lothleth Troll
4 Geralf's Messenger
4 Dreg Mangler
24 creatures

4 Rancor
3 Tragic Slip
3 Sign in Blood
3 Abrupt Decay
2 Murder
15 other spells

Rancor on Gravecrawler/Slitherhead seems spicy, and The zombie creature base is already so cost-efficient, not to mention shock lands help out aggro decks massively.

Just curious, anybody else here plays legacy?

I play only paper magic, tho. No mtgo

I will have
