A celebration of yet another random "let's have Monday off" holiday
My friends and izakthegoomba, I present to you a most spectacular event that will be treated with nothing resembling seriousness at all. I have located a fantastic map which you may not download. This map contains 8 fantastic paintball arenas which I wish to sample this upcoming Monday. How will it work you ask? Well, that depends on how many people we get for the event.
Spoiler: 6-10 players
Players will split into two teams and will take on each map. The team that wins each map will score one point. Best of eight wins. Should there be a tie at the end, a map will randomly be selected to be replayed in a tradition our founding fathers called "sudden death."
Spoiler: 11-20 players
The players will be split into either 3 or 4 teams of 3 or 4 players each. Each map will be a "tournament" style battle. Each team will recieve points based on where their team ranks in that map. Rinse and repeat. The best team by the end wins!

Gameplay
Each player will be given a bow and a stack of arrows. The goal is simple; kill the fuck out of the other team. One life per match per player. The last team standing wins the match!
Use whatever tactics you wish; dodging, strafing, shooting, sacrificing and screaming like little girls will likely be employed at one time or another, so be sure to join in!
Rules for Participation
1. When Xalxe attempts to explain rules, shut the fuck up and listen.
2. You must have Skype to talk to your team. No Skype, no playing.
3. You may not cheat.
4. You may not leave the play area at any time.
5. Xalxe is the boss. Don't piss him off.
6. No Brits allowed, it's an American holiday bitches!
7. Just kidding, Brits are cool.

Alright, so a little while back I posted asking for help to check that my new Bukkit server was working correctly...Xalxe and izak each graciously spent a good chunk of their time today putting up with my flailing whilst trying to get this to work, and I think I finally have. If anybody woud like to help me test it out at this point, the current IP is

I have it set to a user maximum of 10, but I doubt you'll all be flooding it so that shouldn't be an issue. I've also removed the whitelist so if you get an error regarding that let me know. I will be updating this IP so if it works (which we'll find out) and people actually want to start joining then feel free. Please shoot me a PM or leave a sign in the basement of the Lighthouse with any comments on the server, etc.
Tentative /in to Monday's planned event. Sounds fun and I'll be there if I can.
I may be too tired after the gaming convention I'm attending this weekend. I'm part of the staff for the area I attend so I'll be pretty wiped out when I get home Sunday night.
