my vote for omg was simply becuase he was urging everyone to kill mert. i thought he was too eager to kill someone. especially when his reasoning was "for having an avatar that frightens me a little"

you what? i never said anything even remotely like that....

my reason for voting mert was that he seemed actively overfriendly, like he was trying to fit in way too hard, im used to playing in games that just end after an amount of time rather than getting to a vote count so he seemed the best option... sorry to all i really should have checked and seen this was a 'only lynch when you get to 7' game.

now im switching to you because you have been all over the place getting mixed up and are totally over defensive over like 2 votes? you also have posted in a responsive kind of way to mert more than once which means to be that likely:

a) you are mafia together
b) you are buddying up to a villager to get them on side in the end game.

the thing that makes me think its less likely mert is his willingness to get replaced in the game, that tells me he is likely just a villager that doesnt care much, so ill pick you for now as my #1 option

mafia-like? definitely not. why would a mafia bring that much attention to themselves? (i totally realise this works the opposite way on second level)

its just how i generally play.

and im just pointing out that if you had been mafia, i find it less likely that you would want to draw attention to yourself by saying that you were leaving and could need a replacement... i think you would also be more enthusiastic about staying in the game as a mafioso.

mert, first up, off topic: thanks. i was kinda disappointed initially with the lack of involvement in this game but its starting to get real good now, very nice analysis there. im gonna enjoy playing this with you regardless of which side you are on

first up, to your first point

you had to point out that it was random (not wanting to draw attention), and then tried to leave a little joke in there as well.... it just feels off to me. i came in and saw this as the most suspicious post so voted for you.

Haha, I've been meaning to change it, actually. It just happened to be the first image I found on my hard drive that was correctly sized. One day I'll get around to Photoshopping something new and exciting, I promise.

this drips with mafia imo. someone votes for you and you start of with a laugh, then keep the whole tone of the post positive, finishing with a promise that you are going to do something for the person that voted for you (lowell). no talk of a revenge vote, no attack or analysis whatsoever, avoiding me who was also voting for you. this is just a feel thing, this seems so off, its such a 'i wanna fit in and be nice' post. if this is just how you are then of course i could be wrong.

i thought we were playing a game where the person with the most votes would be lynched after 24 hours. as such i tried to lead a lynching on the person i found most suspicious (you)... so a complete random didnt get lynched day 1. thats just how i roll

i dont know what WIFOM means so i cant address your third point, but we both know that whether or not i pointed it out, what i said there made sense. a mafia is so much less likely to lead a lynching like that.

i have to say, this game is very much running in backwardsworld to what im used to.

given the amount of time, wouldnt a mafia be more likely to really think through their posts, making sure all angles were covered, then give lengthy explanations that make sense for what they do?

whereas a villager would just post what they thought, based on feel or anything else without caring much what anyone else thought?

for example, my above vote is made based primarily on feel. i 'feel' that arafax is overreacting. he is becoming zealous about something that i 'feel' he doesnt really care about at all because to be honest its kinda silly. to me this is how a mafioso is likely to be acting.

from now on if i will try to give a brief summary for anyone i vote for, but know that many votes will be based on feel and not elaborate logic, because lack of logic is not a 'scum tell' imo
