well, do you really think the servers are going to be filled up before they are actually released? (as in pre-purchase headstart playtime, etc;)
how many people didn't pre-purchase or pre-order the game?

You saw how the servers were on BWEs, right? Those were mostly people with headstart access.

Mmm. I really don't want to compromise for a weaker server (as in, wont have prominent people for WvWvW;)
You can still be in guilds across servers.
I know Fate/Socio will be hardcore WvWer's
perhaps we should just decide on a "sister server" for now?

Well, on the reddit server, it's quite possible that there won't be room in WvWvW if we wanted to do it. I went on a relatively low pop server compared to some for BWE3 and there were still long queues.

You can be in guilds across servers? I hadn't heard that.

Yeah, I knew that, and you could guest to the other servers. You just can't WvW on the other servers. If not for that, I'd be ok on a separate server, but I want to WvW with two different groups, which is why I want to get the groups on the same server. One is vehemently against GoM, and one is vehemently for it, so I'm a feeling a wee bit caught in the middle.

I'm fine with GoM, high pop servers are going to be better at WvW, just because there doesn't look to be flexible caps like Winterforge. Frankly, a lot of PvP in MMOs is getting enough goddamn warm bodies to show up.

Hey, SWTOR was good. It didn't have much endgame content and the PvP sucked, but other than that, I really enjoyed it.

I was on the Ferguson's Crossing server for the first two BWEs because, unlike you guys, I actually have a sense of pride when it comes to the server I'm on.

I was still able to join the SDC guild despite being on a different server, so yes, you can invite people to join guilds cross-server.
