Yeah, I think I'm gonna ditch the engineer class at launch, sadly. It's like the opposite of an actual engineer. All the stuff an engineer does is highly random, and I think my PvP survivability is directly tied to how hard I hug my turret, which is pretty pathetic.
I'm as unimpressed as its possible to be.

RedFF, exactly, this game is most definitely pay to win, you don't want to get it and should never go near it, and even if by some miracle you should get ahold of it, the Gates of Madness server is occupied by diseased lepers and homosexual activists, and you should avoid it like the plague.
Also the infographic you posted is blatantly lying.
As those items are not the best in the game and you can get weapons of the same calibur through many different methods other than spending karma.
The weapons you buy with karma are also bind on pick up.

That's not true. "Farming Karma" is hard enough as it is. You have to spend hours upon hours, even with a boost. I've gotten free boosts through mystic chests and the increase was negligible for the short amount of time it lasted. But believe what you will. The game wasn't made for people who don't even try to do simple wiki searches or have the patience to watch a 13 minute video. :shrug:

I just don't see how this isn't p2win? You can still enjoy the game, but this karma booster is definitely not a cosmetic item, it's paying for a currency that let's you buy good gear, something that non-paying players have to grind/fight/play for.
It's paying for a boost that lets you buy gear that you can get the same of in different ways.
At a point it is simply just buying it for the cosmetic effect.
You have to GRIND for the karma regardless of the boost or not.
The most time intensive and expensive weapons in the game don't have better stats than any other end game weapons. There are countless options when it comes to your final gear.
Also, completely unrelated to this conversation...

The items do absolutely nothing in PvP, did you know? Everyone gets the same stats relative to their profession! The gear does make you cooler, so you kinda demoralize your opponents into losing... yeah, red's right.
